The simple answer is yes. However, some think that these darts are dangerouse but this theory has been debunked.

These darts are commonly referred to as "China darts" or FVJs. They fly more accurately, but due to their increased weight, with less velocity. However, this does not necessarily mean less range due to momentum and such. (I'm no physicist)
Hope this helps

The FVJs are definitely more accurate. You don't need a chrono, or high def video to figure it out, just shoot a few hundred yourself and you can tell. They're definitely better than genuine Nerf darts. But again, that's not saying much. If the genuine Nerf brand dart is the benchmark, then the bar is pretty low. In fact it couldn't be lower. I don't think there's a dart on the market that claims to be less accurate than the Nerf.
But there are limitations. The FVJs are a millimeter or two longer than regular nerf darts. They're also a quarter millimeter thicker. And that's a problem, especially for my flywheel blaster for some reason. They jam a LOT. Not just once in a while, all the time. They just don't work. They're great in my single shot and front load blasters, and clip fed blasters, and definitely more consistent. Sometimes more accurate. But as I've said before, "accurate" and "nerf" should not be used in the same sentence by reasonably educated, well socialized individuals.
I like the black ACCurate darts slightly better. And I've got a couple hundred Gen 3 Koosh darts coming. But these solid tipped knockoff Chinese darts are perfectly good, and a definite step up from Nerf brand darts. And WAY cheaper.

Can we include links when we reference purchasable darts? It'll make keeping it all straight easier.
As a christmas gift I took a risk and bought two 200ct bundles (400 friggan darts!) of blue suction cup darts from amazon:
http://www.amazon.co...ailpage_o08_s00
Shipping was weeks faster than it predicted and the foam was denser than nerf's. The 10 I randomly picked shot without complaint from the rampage I had laying around. Some of the tails were squished from the packaging - but that should be fixable by a ten second tumble in a pre heated dryer. (test a small sample of darts first). The heads *seem* well attached, I haven't tried pulling on them to find out.
200 nerf-comperable sucker darts for $13 is a pretty amazing deal.

My preference is still the Koosh darts gen 3. The FVJ darts and the ACCurate darts tend to sting more. While I don't mind the more sting, we deal with lots of people that have 5 yr olds - teenagers and adults using them and the younger ones don't like that sting and I need to keep our customers happy. They all fly more accurate. The only benefit of the FVJ and ACCurate darts over the Koosh is price which can be a big benefit. However the FVJ have also been banned from some wars.

Schmee,
Excellent shopping skills ! That dryer trick works great, doesn't it. Another trick I've used is a 4 second dip in boiling water. Restores 'em to nearly new. Some of the Chinese darts don't tolerate heat well, so test one first my friend.
I respectfully disagree with previous comments that FVJs and ACCurates "sting" more. Forget the physics and the opinions. Prove it for yourself. Have someone blast you and decide for yourself. I think you will find, as I have, that there is absolutely no difference. A good t-shirt makes excellent Nerf body armor. Ban = Hype.
As requested, here are some places I've bought darts.
ACCurates:

FVJs:

Gen3s:

Peace.
