Just stopped by my Wal-mart today, and I finally picked one up! The strange thing was that it was not stocked near where the other Nerf guns are usually kept. So far, I am not dissapointed about it, especially with the potential for modding. The Rocket gets maybe 15' tops, but I think I might fix that once I get some brass shoved in there.

I got the Hornet for free and it's rather badass. And about the bazooka shootin only 15 feet is dumb cause the nerf dudes came to Apoc and demonstrated it and it shot way more than 15 feet with that shoe of a dart.

I haven't really measured it, but that was my visual perception of the range. It may be possible that Hasbro made some air restriction changes between the prototyping and actual production, or I may be just off on the measurements. I live in a trailer, so I don't have a lot of space to test ranges, unless I go outside.

Alright people mine came in the mail today and the premod ranges go as follows scout 32, hornet 35, and titan with that frighteningly huge missile 64 feet. I'm already working on the scout which unfortunatly has no hopes for external banding and the air restrictor takes up almost all of the barrel, but thats going to change as soon as I finish this post. The titan has a removable barrel so I cut off the air restrictor at the tip and slid a test barrel in, the dart didn't go far do to the fact that it wasn't a permanent barrel but it smoked and thats usually a pretty good sign. Sorry, nothing on the hornet yet.
