I'm going to pre-order it today. Even if there's no real reason, i just think it'd be nice to get it before it's on shelves, and i dis-like dealing with wal-mart in general.

I don't remember offhand what the shipping was ($7?) but that just adds insult to injury for me - it's already $40! I'll drop by TRU and (if I have to) WalMart next week and see if I can pick one up.

The walmarts near me suck with inventory. I figured i'll pay the extra 7, or about 10 for 2-3 day and get it without the hassle.

My mom works at wal-mart and she heard from the department manager of toys that they were getting a shipment of stuff in a couple days, so it would seem, that wal-mart shipped the guns to the stores at the same time they shipped the guns to pre-ordering customers.

Oh, I hate ineffeciency. ^_^

Any Canadians please answer this.

Is is just me, or have you noticed that Canadian Walmarts don't carry Nerf guns? I've called every Walmart in the province and half of them "don't know anything about it" and the other half say "We haven't gotten Nerf guns for the last 2 years."

Help.

(I would like to take the time now to let someone know I may be interested in purchasing an N-Stike line from them.)

Edit: Still can't believe anyone hasn't posted pictures of the new line! It's already 2pm Pacific!
Edit: Damnit, I'm anxious. 3pm and no one bragging yet?

A check by a few local Wal-Marts provided the fact that there weren't any around. I also recieved word I'm fscking broke. Great. If they released them the end of next month, fine. But not right before first term starts, jeez.

I'm gonna start checking my local stores to see if they come in. At my local Wal-Mart, they are starting to stock some of Lanard's guns (First Shot). Hopefully, they will have the new Nerf guns, and possibly the Max Shot? I get paid after this weekend, so money shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Walmarts have regrettably been the best source for Nerf guns in the last few years (second only to Toys 'R Us, though they're starting to suck too), though arbitrary places like Saan have often carried the older blasters. Needless to say, I wouldn't expect the new blasters to hit us until their rerelease in a year's time or so. Seems to be the pattern. International shipments are likely required if you want the set any time soon, Hunter.

I was thinking about everyone who says it's too expensive...but doesn't the gas to drive around checking stores cost money too? Depending on how many stores you check, and what MPG you get, you may end up meeting the 7 dollars shipping cost.

No...i'm just saying that after i while you'd end up paying less had you shipped it. Of course, you if you drive, say, and SUV or a HUMMER then your gonna be spending a lot more.

Most cars have around 20 MPG. Your assuming they drive over 60 miles in search for a nerf gun?

No one is stopping you...

How come toysrus.com doesn't carry it? Is there a reason Walmart's the only store that carries it?

even in SoCal, where gas prices are about $.20 higher than most of the country, i would have to try really fucking hard to waste $7 dollars of gas to find a nerf gun...even in an '89 Mazda with shitty mileage.

Never mind...sheesh. I guess all the walmarts are farther away here. I suppose you wouldn't even have to bother if you just waited till somebody else posted that they'd gotten one.

It was betweent the new line and Armored Core:Nexus. I had saved up enough money for one or the other. If I preorder, it will cost $47, leaving me with ...$3 leftover. Then I have 15 days to save up $50 for AC Nexus. If I dont preorder, I would have to wait a long time before my stores are stocked.Im...so torn.

THIRST

6 shot semi-auto or Armored Core:Nexus, beautiful game? Mah!
