I occasionally get some pre-release info directly from Hasbro's marketing team. The following is such an update.

Image and Information Under Embargo until 1/19/15

post-112956-0-93844000-1421694613.jpg

(Ages 8 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $34.99/Available: Fall 2015)
Supersize your NERF battles and dominate the field with the highest capacity MEGA blaster ever! The MEGA RotoFury blaster gives you the option of firing one MEGA Whistler Dart at a time, or slam firing a steady stream of ten darts in a row. Hear the darts whistle as they fly through the air and hit targets up to 90 feet away. Includes 10 MEGA Whistler Darts. Available at most major retailers nationwide and HasbroToyShop.com.

I don't have any further information about the blaster, and I absolutely can't speculate about mod potential or the internal workings of the blaster. but if you have a question that could be asked of the marketing team (read: Not the designers or engineers) I might be able to pass it along.

I've been looking forward to this to. But I thought that it was called the MEGA Berzerker. To me that looks like a 10-dart drum.

Edit: Nerf originally did call it the Berzerker but they renamed it the RotoFury. My link

The second I get my hands on one of these I'm going to give it a shotgun grip and Centurion stock. Thanks for the update Langley!

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.

...(also judging by your past posts, I would consider you pretty dang wise elder like in the modding community  )

Since we seem to be gun-ho about unreleased blasters here's the new "Doominator"

Looks like a jamfest to me.

Langley, Now that I got thinking about it, It somewhat resembles as a successor to the nerf dart tag fury fire.

On another note, you can do the same thing to this as what drac did to the nerf N-Strike Elite Mega Cyclone shock, ad possibly get on par, if no better, ranges it had when he modded it.

Duke, I am actually having a mental breakdown about this blaster and the rotofury.

And, I am afeard for my life if this punches out more power than the cyclone shock, ESPECIALLY with Stefans. It my result in a return of the doomsayer in a reborn look, as Birch mentioned indirectly.

If it is TOO op, then we might have to see some limitations on the blaster, if not ban the micro-d versions

Referring to the rotofury's price. I don't think that it is worth 35 USD (assuming that it is in USD). Maybe 25 USD, 30 USD would be pushing it. Considering it to be the MEGA successor to the Nerf Dart Tag Fury Fire.

Also, please understand that if I double posted, it is not my fault. I lost internet connection right as I clicked the add reply button. My internet has been kind of wonky lately.

Huh, it looks goofy because it's so bulky......

Also, how do you get Hasbro to send you info about Pre-Release Blasters, or at least lets say you have a YouTube Channel and Hasbro sends you blasters to review them, how do you get them to do that? Are you sponsored? how do you get sponsored?

And Oh, By the way, any info on the Nerf Elite Crossbolt? Is it a store exclusive or can the blaster be purchased at any outlet?

i am looking forward to this beauty...

Same altough ive seen a video of the you fair where Hasbro displayed all new blasters coming out. Honestly i look forward to the bagger variaties of the flippers the new zombiestrike yellow blasters and the modulus is looking great. Also the attachments will be able to fit on previous nerf blasters so thats great to. Even the whole rivals concept is looking marvelous, as i am thrilled to test the foam ball ammo wich looks pretty good. The new crossbow kind of dissapointing me as the Blaster is clipfed jet its not auto but still singlefire.

Well that was just some more info about that .
I dont really know how to place pictures with this url system sinds i work from an ipad here but ill figure it out and post sole pictures.

Have a great day yall.
