I actually think if you take away whatever "coolness factor" you would look for in color. I think Dayglow ORANGE would be the most practical color for finding darts. yeah we can start a poll later on for color. I really need everyone to vote though.

I'd pay 2 or 3 times that for dayglow orange.

But if you could pull strings so that they produced it Straight, AND bright orange, I think you would make ALOT of fans from nerfers everywhere.

However, while negotiating you need to remember to manufacture orange baker rod takes some money. So you need to explain why it would be useful in its usually applications, i.e. window-sills, door-jams, foundation cracks, etc.. Once you have gotten that covered I will pay up too $.75/sq.ft..
Good Luck!

Grey, naturally, blends very well with pavement, and any earthen background, light or dark.
Orange is dandy in almost all cases, but what about in the fall? I've lost my fair share of orange Max Force Mega Darts to leafy backdrops. Light or dark, I've had issues with them. Same goes for yellow, as nice as it is on every other background. Neon yellow would differ a bit, but not much in the fall.
Green seems unmentionable, but the bright green used on Larami darts is actually pretty easy to spot on any background.
If I had my choice, I'd go with a light/sky blue, as neon/bright as possible. Unless you're playing in a McDonalds play palace or something, there's no chance in hell you're losing those. Hot Pink is the close second, though many may have an obvious aversion to that.
But maybe I just have a poor idea of the general colour of dayglow orange.

I just got my clan started of about 10 people (plus or minus 3 or 4 some days, including my pastor , he even painted his NF and RF20 flat black after we dicided we were not going to do that!) any hoo...
we have probabbly had 6 wars.
this last weekend we played 3 consecutive afternoons in 3 different locations.
we started with about 1000 darts... as of today i think we have 20.
please tell me this is not normal.
*you know what? Call me crazy, but wouldn't FBR companies make more money if we just kept loosing our darts?

my grey backer rod costs $0.15/ft...i'd pay twice that much to be able to FIND my darts, so i'd pay $0.30/ft. maybe even as much as $0.40 or $0.50 if thats the cheapest it can be gotten, but that's pushing it.
if quantity is a question (like they want to know how big a run of colored stuff you want), put me down for 50 feet. again, i'd go up to 100 feet if it helps the availability; too many or too expensive findable darts is better than unfindable cheap ones.

Scroll down on the page, and you can purchase white FBR in 1/2" diameter for $2 per 10 feet. (Same price as store-bought gray FBR) I might try to order some, because white is also easy to see.

-if this were to all come through and I could get my hands on it PRECUT (probably 2.5")(which I think would mean pre-straight as well) would that be preferable?
