4 inch cpvc barrels, sanded out at the tip for easy loading. 2 copper couplers on each barrel wrapped in duct tape lightly so the couplers/barrels touch. Barrels wrapped in a bike inner tube for extra reinforcement. 2 #8 washers on valve hole to prevent glue from getting in there, causing leaks, and the washer makes the airflow better. 2 inner tube pieces wrapped around the handle for a comfy rubberized grip. Spiffy paintjob.
80 feet wehn darts pushed in with fingers, 100 feet when completely ramrodded.
Alex, I need a hug. This is my first prettyfultacular gun!

And I won't go as far to say it's fugly. But you could have made it look so much better with so much ease. First, paint the solid side whatever color you want (Mine was blood red) Then paint the inside of the sold shell Silver(heavy glossed). Then you paint the INSIDE ONLY of the clear side witht the same color as the outside of the solid shell. The silver will shine throught. It's quite nice.

I wanted the dull green, so Im satisfyed. At least you didnt call it fugly. Though it feels awkward without you bashing my guns, some things should never change...

zip ties
duct tape (plumbers goop/epoxy and e-tape are better at everything)
electrical tape (visible)
uncovered holes in case
barrels/barrel sheaths/"silencers" out of true

if it was a ton of work to use plumber's goop and good construction techniques, i would understand. but it isn't.

I also dont have goop laying around the house, nore do I feel like driving 15 minutes just to go get some when I have 5 rolls of perfectly good E-tape right here.

Ok duder, you need to shut up. Your acting like plumbers goop is better than us. I dont usually use tape, and I used to hate it with a passion, but tape offers a versatilty over plumbers goop that cannot be ignored. Its cheap, easy to use, and you probobally have loads of the stuff lying around in your house. If I want something to be secure or airtight, Ill plumbers goop. If I just want to tape something together to make it so it isnt all over the place, Ill use duct tape. Tape can be retaped easily, and can be undone easily to tweak your gun.
Your arguments are getting halfminded and repetative. If I want something pretty, Ill paint a picuture. Courtesy os Shortshit. I want funcionailty, and to be able to take my guns apart. My next triple barrel NF, coming to a thre near you, will use alot of tape, just for you Okto.

repetetive? take a stance, stick to it...thats how one argues a point. i dont think im better than you, or whatever, but i dont understand making a tacked-together looking gun when it takes only a little more effort to make it look good.
sidenote: i laughed at that 'paint a pretty picture' bit cos its classic 'i dont understand art or care to so im going to react to it rather than engage my mind to try to understand it' stuff. artists hate that, it belittles art as a fanciful waste of energy cos it doesnt serve a measurably useful purpose. aesthetics is important. it's secondary to function, but the two are not exclusive of each other.

I'm tired of opening a thread to look at an original mod and hearing someone bitch about how it has tape on it. You're filling every goddamn thread with it, and we've seen it enough. I don't want to argue over performance and cosmetics, but I'm going to tell you to shut up. We've heard it ad infinitum and we don't need to hear it again. If it isn't too hard, I'd like to go in and comment on the actual mod, not the fucking tape or paint.
Now, I'm going to comment on this mod if you don't mind. Thirst, it's very original. I guess I always though shorter barrels would make a SF suck, but apparently not. It looks very compact and perfectly holsterable, and it sounds like it performs well. Keep up the original mods, man.

Anyways, I love the gun- the paintjob is nice, and I always have liked splitfires, although I have yet to get my hands on one...

3 Years? Usually after a few years, my electrical tape starts to degrade and the adhesive melts off all over the place... but that's on electronics, maybe it's different.I dunno about you, but i dont roll my guns around in the grass, so I dont understand why you would get grass all over it....Also, Ive had the same E-tape on my plain x-bow for 3 years, looks brand new.....

And im currently making a quadbarrel TTG that improves over all my other pistol-shotties. It will be better in. Every. Single. Way. Itll be done in a bit over a week, when I get back from camping. Until then, Ill let the suspence knaw at your puny little minds.
