Brought to you by: the Supa Swaggin SouthEast NIC Yung #YOLO Groupies Whom Partake in all Walks of Shenanigans.
-Date: July 26th
-Time: We plan on starting no later than 10:00. Most of us will be there by 9:30 to set up our stuff.
-Location: 434 McBride Road, Fayetteville, GA
What to bring:
A) DARTS, we WILL NOT be loaning our pink darts to ANYONE, we are starting to run quite low. So yea...man up and make your own. I recommend around 200 per person.
- I would prefer not to see a ton of scavenging off the field (again our pinkies are starting to get worn out as well).
- The only restrictions on darts I am placing is No Slingshots, and darts must have at least an inch of foam. It has always worked fine for us, and I am not changing it now.
- #6 Slugs are preferred on all accounts.
If you don’t have darts to use, WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED. You are free to use darts from the Community Dart Box, but please pick them up with us and return them at the end of the war.
(dart fit WILL vary)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BLASTERS, Bring at least one reliable PRIMARY, a springer PISTOL, and an AWFUL (if you wish to participate in Awfuls rounds).
- DO NOT bring anything crazy overpowered (I am specifically looking at homemade airguns); we will still allow the normal singled BBBBs and the like (Please use slugs with these). If your primary is deemed to be too powerful, I WILL ask you to put it down.
- Realistic blasters are dumb
- If you need a blaster, more likely than not we will be able to loan you one.
- Melee is cool.
- Blaster hits DO NOT count, this however does not mean you can strap a large shield to your blaster. Be smart, or I will ban it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OTHER THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- LUNCH, I would NOT LIKE to see people running off for a 45-minute lunch break. I personally think it is much more efficient to just bring one with you. Trust me, a turkey sandwich tastes just fine after you have been Nerfing for a few hours. You are free to do what you want though.
- WATER, Bring some, IT WILL BE HOT. I would say bring at the very least close to a gallon. Drink plenty.
- SUNSCREEN, the sun will likely be out, and I have gotten some horrific burns. Just do it. (I am sure we can find a burly man to help you rub it on)
- EYE PROTECTION, We fire some heavyweight darts (not that it matters), YOU WILL BE WEARING THEM WHILE ATTENDING. I could care less if you are 18 or not.
- A fold-able chair, these make resting in between rounds so nice (if you have one/can fit one)
- Something to lay your blasters out on/in, unless you don't mind them sitting in the grass
- Money/Blasters for trading. We like to do a lot of this down here, so bring what ya got.
- Intelligence, Don't be an idiot.
- A good attitude. If you act like a crybaby we will escort you off the premises as a crybaby.
- Bring a loaner blaster if you got one, stuff happens.
- Do not bring any open alcohol, illicit drugs, or real firearms to this event. Or I will have you escorted from the premises.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GAMETYPES:
FFA
Deathmatch
Freeze Tag/ Conga Line Freeze Tag
Awfuls
Wingman
Robot Mind Control
Civil War
Wildcard
Any gametype rules can be explained at the event.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately I have a big family reunion in Mexico on the 19th for two weeks and I'm driving there so you guys are just going to have to get pelted by foam without me. If you want me to mail you the community crossbow I can so you guys can put it in the raffle. It's a real shame I was really excited to use it.

Go ahead and keep the Xbow for now. Sorry you've got to miss this one, we'll hopefully see you again soon.

1. When exactly does the war end?
2. Do the darts from the community box fit clip system blasters?
3. Who did you mean when you said "the awesome kids"?
Edit: I have another question.
4. About when will dinner be? (I can't eat until 3 hours after lunch but the latest I can eat dinner is 7pm because of the medicine I have to take)

I will try to be there but I have a few questions.
1. When exactly does the war end?
2. Do the darts from the community box fit clip system blasters?
3. Who did you mean when you said "the awesome kids"?
1. There's no real set end time; we usually leave the war site around dusk.
2. The community box darts won't work with stock blasters or stock clips, but many will fit stefan clips.
3. Basically just anyone we like/whoever's cool and not a douchebag.
Feel free to ask any more questions you may have. Hope to see you there!
About when will dinner be? (I can't eat until 3 hours after lunch but the latest I can eat dinner is 7pm because of the medicine I have to take)
4. Not sure on exact times; we tend to play everything by ear. I think you should be fine though.
Also, add another reply with a question instead of editing from now on please; I almost completely skimmed over it.

I am also very pleased to see new blood in the south, I hope you all bring enough to share.
I'll be bringing the Draculina and a +1 most likely. We may need to outsource some stefan making for this one guys, I haven't seen the pink darts in about a year but I imagine they're running mighty thin.

After finding out tuna bought the wrong size of washers we decided to invest our time in making uber domes.
2 hours later we have 14 darts.

A few updates I'd like you to read:
- My dad has rented a porta potty for the day, so a restroom will be available. However, it's not that cheap, so we'd really appreciate it if everyone brought at least $5 to help pay for it.
- We'll be bringing a big orange cooler filled with ice cold water, so we'll have lots of water for everyone.
- We'll also be bringing two tents to provide some nice shade, so bring your own chairs!
- Make sure to also pack a lunch and sunscreen.
- Edit: Also, PRESCRIPTION GLASSES ARE NOT EYE PROTECTION. If you wear prescription glasses, you must use goggles that completely cover your glasses and your eyes.

Applejack, as I suspected, broke her trigger at the last war. I've ordered a Polycarb replacement, but as it just shipped today, she won't be ready for the war.
My pumpsnap died a while ago, and I'm begining to suspect that it may be permanent. I have one idea to try, but otherwise, RIP on brave rustler.
My original Quadshot was in suprisingly (or not) good shape. I've already regreased it, and it's otherwise good to go. It's amazing to think that I've had this blaster since my very first war, and that I've used it at least once in almost every war since.
My second Quadshot, despite being newer and theoretically better than the first, had some matter of deficiency if I remember correctly. I plan on looking at it when I get home, and hopefully I can get it working to a reasonable capacity, since it will probably be the only other springer I have this weekend. I could also try and finally fix the Octoshot, but that's probably more trouble than it's worth.
All of my airblasters are thankfully fufilling the expectation that they require almost zero maintainence. Unfortunately, I'd only consider using one of them; the original 4B I own. One of these days, I'll put together another 2 or 3 SVT 4Bs out of the parts I have, and potentially a few of my own BBUMBs, but today is not that day.
Finally, I have the feeling that the last time I warred, I had an unfortunate lack of barrels for the absurd number of working blasters I own. So a sizable portion of my time tonight will probably go towards making an assortment.
Hopefully, tomorrow it will all be worth it.

Ironically, one of the only remaining blasters I have from the dorm times is it's twin, still in perfect working order, whispering doom wherever it goes. The lesson here is that quadshots made by people with very little experience are apparently immortal.
