Too expensive.

Here's how you make them yourself

Ice Water
Coffee (I prefer folgers crystals)
Milk or flavored creamer (like irish creme)
BROWN SUGAR
Ice

Add the ingredients and stir. That's it. Hell of a lot cheaper.

Did you know that fraps have the same amount of calories as a big mac? So I have all these girls at our high school who brag that they'll stay thin for life, and they drink like a pack of these a day (You know.. the sam's club ones). By the time they get to college, they'll have 200 inch waists...

Thin for life?! Those girls probably eat worse than I do. It's that damned American metabolism that keeps them thin.

I work in a coffee house, called, appropriately enough, "The House of Coffee" (now refered to by Langley and TheFred as 'The House of Debauchery')

For those who do not like the taste of coffee, but need the espresso.

Espresso Absinthe
3 shots Esp.
1 heaping tbs. coco
2 tbs. brown sugar ('sugar in the raw' is acceptable)
mint flavor syrup
1 shot cold half n' half (or whole milk)
Mix the first four ingredients untill sugar and coco dislolve, add milk. For Espresso Absinthe Fancy (not gay. It's a coffee house thing.) serve in a latte glass with whip creme, drizzle chocolate and a few espresso beans on top.

You can chug it, and you won't taste the coffee, but it kinda burns going down. If you want a better taste and less caffine, switch the third shot of espresso for hot milk.

Personally, I like my caffine in the form of Bawls energy drink, livewire, cappuccino, and straight espresso with a little lemon.

Edit: They sell frappuccinos that are twice as large as the regular ones at my student center.

Well, in the winter the local ice cream shop becomes a coffe shop, and it just so happens to be located right across the street from my school. I've aquired a taste for the heavy stuff. IE: not that pussy Maxwell/folgers shit, the arabic stuff. (the owners are kuwati, really nice people I'm friends with thier kid) I'm pretty sure they just friggin pop the coffe grounds in a bong or something pour the whole lot into a cup, but I'm not complaining. There is more caffine in a cup of that stuff than is a case of redbull.

Some of the older members who have had this kind of stuff know, it aint for the faint of heart.

I make my own coffee at home; unless I'm in The Lu or going to the Tea Haus here in The 'Burg (lol, love that), where I get my Peppermint Bombs or Viennese Spices, respectively, I make my own; coffee's too damned expensive. I'm also diabetic, so all that sugar and shit ain't cool, unless I'm on a holiday or something. Anyway, I use the Wal-Mart Columbian, Wal-Mart creamer, Splenda/Equal, and add cinnamon to it when its done. Cinnamon is awesome in coffee; just stir it in, maybe two shakes for a glass. No calories or sugar, tastes great, and its hellas cheap. Yeah...

That's an awesome idea for that coffee thing though, I'll try that next time I have access to a blender.

Dude, that's nasty! The only real way to make ice coffee is to brew coffee the right way with a drip coffeemaker (piping hot!), and refrigerate it.

Woah, I missed that one. Definitely nasty.

Here's my ice blended mocha recipe (2 servings):

3 shots fresh (hot) espresso
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
12 ice cubes
Hershey's chocolate syrup to taste

Put everything except for 6 of the ice cubes in a good blender and put it on high or ice crush mode. When it's all liquid, put the other 6 ice cubes in and repeat. It should end up nice and slushy when you're done.

Drink with straw, stirring occasionally. The drink stratifies rather quickly as the slush melts.

Making these at home last summer rather than going to *$ saved me way more than enough cash to pay for the awesome blender I got to make ice breaking easier.

He speaks the truith. You gotta brew, let it cool untill it stops steaming, then stick it in the fridge. And use some real damn coffee. Like a nice strong dark roast or something to balance out the ice and all the milk.

A shot glass is an ounce and a half, I believe.

Regular shot glasses can usually be found at Wal-Mart or a local liquor store. I believe that they can either be a ounce or 1-1/2 oz, possibly depending on who makes them.

I should trry out some of these recipes. I am sick of having to spend shitloads of money to get my caffeine buzz from Red Bull.

Folgers is cheap coffee.

For real coffee freaks like myself, you'll know the difference between robusta and arabica beans.

I used to love mister caffeine back in the day (I had the binder decked out with a 3D caffeine molecule and everything!) but I wasn't digging the insomnia, jitteryness, and tendency to over analyze everything. This was good for classroom discussions and math tests but I imagine it made me pretty annoying to my friends. Caffeine has a metabolic half life of about three hours so if you drink 20 oz of drip brew coffee(460 Mg of caffeine)at 8 AM, you've still got 28.75 Mg left in your system twelve hours later. I think I'm pretty sensative to caffeine and sometimes I have trouble sleeping anways so I was only getting around 6 hours of sleep a night. And when you do get to sleep, caffeine usually doesn't allow you to enter a deep, restful sleep. It was very difficult to kick at first but now that I dont rely on it to wake up I'm actually sleeping and much happier and probably easier to be around. And I don't have to pee every five minutes which is nice too. That being said, I'll still occassionally have a bit of caffeine as long as I'm very well hyrdrated before a cross country meet because it's been shown to improve endurance and muslce-fatigue.

My name is Steve and I'm a recovered caffeine addict.

Hi Steve !

My name is Dan, and I to was a recovered caffine addict, I'm slipping back now, and I need help. I used to go on 6 hour coffe binges working late into the night building things to keep the cash flow in. (I have a work shed so I don't keep my folks up.) I got over the caffine addiction, and, was doing fine until a week ago when my baby rolled into the garage. A nice used 1996 XR100R. Oh, baby it was time to drag out the caffine for a nice all night clutch rebuild, carb cleanout, oil change, spark change. Next on the list, all the fenders and body panels are getting bondo-ed to be re-painted. Tell me guys, should I go with flat black, or, a nice high gloss red ?
