I have some 3/4 PVC pipes laying around I can make a couple dicks sticks for the carpe rounds. And they will be absolutely fabulous.

I had to head to my uncle's place to take care of his dogs today/tonight, so I was unable to get more PVC. I only have 18 sticks with me.

Aeromech: Yes. Definitely.

I've got the carpe stuff, nobody else needs to bring any sticks. Extra buckets would still help though

I'm almost definite, bringing a few blasters to unload too. But it's starting to look pretty stormy over by me (block away from APOC)

Sure thing!

Edit: If someone has a thick blanket or camping pad I'd be more than happy to barter some nerf blasters for it at the war. I forgot mine at the campground and the ground tomorrow is going to be wet.

I will not be able to make the war, but would anyone be able to get some high-quality footage and maybe some interviews with famous nerfers? I am planning on making an episode on the channel dedicated to Apoc 2014 since it is hard to find good Apoc footage. Thanks guys.

Here's a video from 2012 with our group from capital region NY. It's not bad:

A problem has been detected and you have been shot down.

DOOMSAYER.EXE

FATAL_EXCEPTION_ERROR_CAUSED_BY_A_SHOT_AT_POINT_BLANK_RANGE

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop Error screen, count to 15 and respawn. If this screen appears again, you're dead. Get out of the field.

Wow guys, sweet war, really.

I guess we're doing the pros/cons thing?

Pros
-Langley runs pretty baller wars.
-Meeting new and old people that partake in this geeky hobby.
-Seeing all the different flavors of homemades. Really, your soul goes into those things. It's heartwarming to see everybody's creativity.
-Finding another Long Island based Nerfer.
-Got rid of some old stuff I don't use.
-Even the "noobs" had a good run, everybody was pretty lax about loaning blasters and parts to those less-armed.
-Weather wasn't that bad
-Signing the shit-ploy. You could easily ebay that for like 75 cents now.

Cons, (Not really, just funny shit that happened.)
-Realizing you're out of ammo three feet away from DX.
-Gotta get me one of them there rocket launchers.
-SNAP style blaster deciding to eat a dick in the last round.
-Motherfucking New York City traffic

10/10 would apocalypse again.

This war was great. Apocalypse continues to be one of the things I look forward to each summer. I got some pink foam which is cool and I came back with many of my darts. Each round was very fun especially the pistol/rocket/missile round towards the end, freeze tag, and carpe was really fun too. Also the rain wasn't as bad. Thanks to everyone involved in hosting this and making this happen. Oh and which team won the carpe round?

Orange did, though there was some controversy and Langley said some people on orange got shot but still carried the balls to the basket.

Oh, thanks. Yeah that round was pretty crazy. Trying to hold people from rushing while people were all around the forest was pretty intense.

Great war, everyone.

Pros:
+ Dodging darts. All the darts.
+ Finding out that my rainbowpup literally shoots further than anything.
+ Running through the woods like a true frontiersman.
+ Shoopy and I wrecking the speed rounds.

Cons:
-What's a con?

Man this year was great despite the impending doom of thunderstorms and what not. I guess it wouldn't have been APOC without some rain. I think for the past 3 years its always rained at some point during the day. Thank you Langley for hosting and running the war. Thanks to all who helped run rounds like Xellah and the like. It was great meeting new people and catching up with people I haven't seen in a long time (SilentRebel, IcySushi, DICE134, Griever, and others).

Thank you to everyone who bought all the stuff for $1-5 :)

Awesome war. Surpassed all my expectations for how great I have heard Apoc is. Thanks to the hosts, and everyone who attended.
If anyone has war footage, I'd be more than happy to edit it into a video for the Collaboration Channel. Shoot me a PM.
Thanks again guys, hopefully I can make next years.

This year was great

Pro's:
pretty good turnout
Met some new people, and caught up with others
saw some awesome blasters other people made
came back with some darts
got a couple hits with my blasters
had a great time

Con's:
rained for the first bit of the day, but that was fine
stole nerfaholic's sales (sorry)
I lent out some blasters that I wanted to use to the "n-strike kids," but they seemed to have a good time with them, so that was okay
Didn't sell as much as I wanted, but that wasn't the reason I was there
Two of my primaries broke (octo-shot, and snap) I fixed them but it was frustrating
accidently shot Joe with a missile launcher at point blank

Thank you to all who helped organize this war, you know who you are. We all had a great time

Twas fun. The best part of that day was me and chops just sitting on the ultimate core field launching missiles back and forth. Easily the most fun game mode I have ever played. Can't wait to play again.

i had a fun time, i just got home, i don't know if this counts as a revive so sorry, but i was that crazy kid with a retaliator and all the tactical attachments, and the ballistic vest. i had a ton of fun, along with death charging and plan on making a homemade after this, my retaliator barely hit 95 flat, so outranged kinda. i also want to ask, where are the apocalypse pics and videos? ill edit this out when answered but i would like to know. :)

Wow, this was one of if not the best experience in this hobby that I have ever had. I would like to thank Langley for doing such an amazing job hosting this war and making it live up to all of the hype that I have heard from various people. And now onto the Pros/Cons.

Pros:
+Meeting so many great people that I have heard so much about
+Hearing so many war stories especially the various BS barrel taps Chops has endured like a falcon punch to the forehead from a coupler on a 3B
+The Effeminate prewar motivational speech from Langley and Chops before Slaughter/Zed Rush which was near the same level as Braveheart. Chops telling how he shot FA24 with a stock recon was what sealed the deal
+Charging through the woods with a small group led by Chops which almost almost got the win in Slaughter
+Everyone signing the Shit-ploy
+Penetration is such an amazing game type and I'm so glad ck32, Xellah, Kronos, and I could bring it to Apoc
+Chasing down Langley with my UMB with a Drac rocket during the missile dual tiebreaker
+Kronos and I representing the Sex Dwarves with semi-flying colors
+Watching my 5k shoot an extra 10-20 ft just because Chops picked it up
+My quick reload clips for my hopper worked extraordinarily well allowing me to push better than someone with a standard ball valve. Thanks to Aeromech for the original concept
+How so many people really liked the handle on my Rainbowpump and the finish was done so well that the rain beaded and wiped right off
+Missile defense and the end of the day was hilarious and my side eventually wining
+PBZ's triple HAMP
+Kronos and I having a Gangster show down with PBZ and his wingman in Gunslinger
+Having a 1-on-1 missile dual with Chops with my Ultimator but eventually lost because he had double my range with a little air blaster
+Apoc going nearly 2 hours later than previous Apocs
+My parents enjoyed themselves so much in Jersey that there is a very large probability of returning next year
+++++++Running into the Ohioans at a rest-stop on the way and BSing for a good half-hour to 45 min

Cons:
-Gears could not attend
-Being JLego's dart magnet in missile defense. Each time I finished pumping my UMB I looked up as Jax shot me
-Not being able to sell anything
-Not being able to fill the gap of not having any Sex Dwarf representation. They were truly missed.
-Not really having enough dart at the end of the day
-Rain, but it could have been worse
-Only having tinted glasses on cloudy day and not being able to differentiate a nerfer from a tree
-7 hr drive home immediately after Apoc and getting home absolutely recked at 1:00 in the morning

All and all this was ridiculously awesome and I hope to return year after year and eventually attend the after party. Thanks again to all of the hosts and mods and I can't wait to throw down again with such awesome people. I'll have some pictures and videos up soon.

Apoc self recap.
Pros
+had a solid crew of about 10 people that I was seated with.
+the fact that people were excited to see my fat ass (im the guy with the blue tripps pictured above)
+I came to apoc with 2 blasters. And left with like 8. And yet only spent 5$.
+made sexy time with my big bear Griever.
+ got a shit ton of running/walking/sprinting into me.
+led a few charges on carpe.
+sold my BloodyHell 4k to griever. (it has a good home.)
+got everyone to sign my shitploy. To the best that I could. (if you didnt get to sign it. I am truly sorry.I havent met everyone at apoc personally so it just leaves room for next year to improve)
+didnt twist my ankle!
+talked.so much crap with PBZ,,DX, GRIEV, etc.
+earned that ball blaster off of chops based on my skill alone.

-cons.
-that drive home took an extra day because we were so tired.
-didnt sleep till 6:30 the day of apoc. But that was my fault.
-left my only pair of shoes in seans car.
-not allowed to take off my shoes in seans car again because they stinked so much
-am still fat.
Etc.
Great war. For who ever liked APOC, NENO 9 is around the corner and Langley is hosting, in Newhaven ct. If you can make it. Definitely do it.
