You're stuck on Catalina for the 4th or in general?I'm stuck on Catalina(Some island off so cal).
If the latter, I'd suggest the Catalina Express as a suitable escape route.
Fun place to scuba dive, shitty place to live.

P.S. You scuba dive there? My dad owns a scuba boat that charters people over there... It's called the Magician.

Of course, I guess the main problem is getting them passed my mom and dad... at the least I'll get a few boxes of those poppers, though.
My username is a good example of what happens when you leave caps lock on.

Back on topic, I live in ohio, illinois not too far away. Took a road trip and bought some fireworks. Bought this missile battery with 1000 missiles in it, set it off in a park, but we had to drive off because everybody was coming to see what the hell was going on. We walked back like innocent bystanders and cops were there. It was much louder than we thought!
oh, i forgot to say, coronado is fucking sweet.

Wow, cool stuff. I don't think I've been on that one.P.S. You scuba dive there? My dad owns a scuba boat that charters people over there... It's called the Magician.
I did some of my advanced certification at Casino Point. Wreck and deep dives if I recall correctly. I've split my local dive time between Catalina and Shaw's Cove in Laguna. That's a nice spot in the fall when the deep water comes in and pushes the sediment out to sea.
I've also taken two chartered boats to the seaward side of Catalina to explore the kelp and play with fishies.

Cool, my dad charters mainly to the isthmus(sp?) area over by Crane rock and Bird rock.
I hope the sky is really clear... then I should be able to see the main land firework shows, which would rock. Seeing hundreds of pyrotechnical displays all at once...

YOU THINK I WOULDN HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT???Ever even look around CHINA TOWN??? All you have to do is look... and look... and look.. SCORE!!!
I'm stuck on Catalina(Some island off so cal).
The guy who used to sell me them got arrested along with all of the other sellers in the area. I'm really bummed and have to use a stash from last year. And xedice, i have one of those batteries too. They're kick ass. Although my favorites are my 12 inch stand-alone missles.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? You take one of those "Groundhog" ones, and just let it go like normal, but it hits like a rock JUST right and then is shot into the air, but still staying upright as it spins through the air.
I thought it was pretty cool.

I'll be sitting at the local paintball field with all the guys, doing stuff like this. I'm sure we'll have cans of Dew up in the air before the nights over...all it takes are some rockets, duct tape, and a few cubes of everyone's favorite soda, and some tinkering idiots.
If there is a large portion of Garner, North Carolina missing on the 5th, you'll know why.
EDIT: Oh, if you want some fun, rig up a quick PVC tube with an grill ignitor in the back...stick a bottle rocket in, and don't point it at people. That's how we did last year.

We and my brother used to make fireworks. We rolled up our old pokemon cards, and covered the bottum with tape. Then we filled the thing with the black powder that comes from Estes rocket engines, and covered the top with tape. And of course, a fuse...
When you lit it up, it would go shooting across the ground in all sors of directions like a spastic mouse, then it would light on fire, and burn to a crisp.
Yeah, well, it was Hella' coo', I guess ya had to be there.

Here's the link: http://www.seanbaby....l/fireworks.htm
Maybe I'll start working on my explosives project after the 4th, when most places start clearancing out their fireworks for REALLY cheap.
Thanks for posting the sparkler link, Gamefreak. Perhaps I should try that one out as well.
I love setting explosive shit on fire.
