I like the bass along with the drums in it. Very good, How long have you been takeing bass and what kind do you play?

Ive been playing bass self taught for about 3 years. I play an Ibanez b-200 I think the model is, I forget at the moment. I also play a no-name-brand upright, for about a month now.

gsr 200 is what you play. That's what the Ibanez model is and what it is in that old picture of you.

I have teh jam sessions with friends. I play rhythm guitar and sing. Or lead, where I don't sing.

I've been in a handful of bands. Mostly metal bands but a rock one or two. It's fun to play with people but for now I just like to jam. The whole idea of being in a band is truly lost to me as I've managed to persevere through some pretty hard group moments. For now, I'm just writing and recording my own stuff.

I play a Deluxe American Fender Jazz Bass (transluscent cherry red paintjob so you can see the wood grain w/ limited edition cream pickgaurd), Jackson King V (solid black, mean ass look), Alvarez RD8C electric acoustic, and somewhere I have my old P-Bass.

Fender basses... the only way to fly.

I've been playing for two and a half years. Two years with lessons.

yeah, i'm in a band. we're called Radiohead. the touring is grueling but i still find time for nerf.

no really.




edit: okay, no really^2, i do play bass in a band with a few of my friends. we've only played one show, but we had about 150-180 people there. it was pretty fun.

I play guitar in our band called Skwal. Its me and a really good drummer and a rhythmically challenged bassist. He only started playing a month or two ago, so I hope he'll get better. We only got together once, but we wrote a song that actually sounds decent. Summer vacations pretty much destroyed every chance of getting together to write more again before mid august, but I'm writing some on my own so if we compose as quickly as we did that first practice, we might be able to rent out the school gym before school or something. Does anyone else have recordings of themselves or their band playing? I'd like to hear some.

EDIT: Wait, wait, wait. After Pat Smear was recruited, he and Kurt switched between rhythm guitar and lead. And Pat Smear sang backround vocals. So he could be Pat Smear. Or he could be in the Chrisitian rock band that sued Nirvana for stealing their name. Or he could be in the completely suck-ass 60's band called Nirvana.

NinjZ, I'm diggin your music. It seems almost post punk, reminds me alot of Joy Division. I like how everything chuggs along, seems like it would be good driving music. What will the vocals be like?

Well "track02" doesnt have lyrics yet, at all. Still working on that. "track01's" lyrics are still being revised, but the way they are sung matches the song, but doesnt follow along exactly with the music.

We sound punky because everyone in the band has different tastes with a few common favorites. Our singer listens to hardcore/emo. I listen to punk/ska/rockabilly. The drummer listens to anything and everything, And our two guitarists listen to classic rock. We all LOVE AFI and The Living End, so alot of that is starting to come through aswell.

Mmhm...Blood Soaked Romance. We're working on a couple songs at the moment. One of them is about 40% complete, the other about 10%. We're pretty new, and might still change the name (some certain people don't really like it...*cough*) We're basically a sort of...emo-metal. We throw some soft songs into it too, but mostly it's pretty heavy.
