Most Divisive (Either you loved it or you hated it):
Coop's Stryfe/Rayven/Strongarm integration - While the quality of the instructions was not bad, this still came across as more of a build log than anything. There is a lot of cosmetic work, and the utility of most of the 'integration' is sort of subjective. I think most of us liked the mod but didn't think it fit the contest.
481IceDragon's Roughcut clip mod - The writeup is not bad, and the modification itself is pretty neat, but I think everyone felt you could have done more with this. I would have loved to see this done in combination with the 4x4 roughcut, although I don't know who would have 4+ roughcuts sitting around.

Most Room for Improvement:
ilikefish508's Firestrike Rifle Copout - We nearly disqualified this one. While it is easily the most useful blaster to have at an NIC war, the writeup leaves a lot to be desired. If there had been really comprehensive instructions on creating the homemade parts, this could have been great.
Griever's Singled Roughcut - I would have really liked to see each side of the roughcut 'singled' for something like a pump action double nitefinder. Until I see that in comparison to this (but with less deadspace) I'm not convinced that flowing both plunger tubes into one barrel is worth the range/ROF trade-off. Might be worth taking a more scientific approach next time.

We got a lot of great submissions, and I really appreciate all the entries we received. Everyone who participated made a valuable contribution to the site. That having been said, the finalists stood out pretty strongly when the judges discussed the entries, so we only really felt it necessary to formally vote on the entries that have already been discussed. We have provided feedback on more than half of the accepted submissions. If your writeup was not discussed, that probably means that it was a perfectly acceptable writeup that I am proud to have on this site, but it didn't really stand out against the other entries that we saw. If any of the participants would like some additional feedback, you are free to send me a PM and I'll do what I can.

tl;dr - We've said what we wanted to say about the entries. There's no 'score' to break down and analyse. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Oh, whoops. I think I deactivated the user poll, because people kept voting in it after the deadline. I'll see if I can restore it but the 4x4 double roughcut was the clear winner, followed by Coop, with I think the firestrike rifle copout as a distant third.
