If you put some silicone grease on your finger you can polish un-curred e-putty to a smooth as glass finish. Perhaps if an internal backer (pvc?) was coated in silicone grease and placed inside the pt pressing firmly against a slotted side (something close to the pt ID) the slots could be puttied in with an internal finish smooth enough to seal against.

Anything yet on the ID of the PT? I agree with shmmee but if we could find something with an OD the the same as the ID of the PT we could cover the tube in silicone grease and insert it and then fill the vents with epoxy putty or even just regular epoxy.

Looks very cool. I'd probably use one stock, just because it looks like great impractical fun.

A reverse plunger tube? What happened NERF, I thought we were friends now? But seriously, how could it possibly get the claimed 100' range, or welts, with a reverse plunger tube?
I'm really getting pissed with NERF now. AUUUGGGHHHHH!!!

For everyone shitting all over this blaster, the reverse plunger is huge for a stock blaster, and the plunger rod looks as though it's as thick as a dart, which means there's no bottle neck like you see in most reverse plungers. The main difference between this plunger and a longshot (aside from the holes in the sides) is that there's more dead space.

Did you have any luck modding it Langley? I'd love to know if it gets a lot more impressive with those holes filled. The fact that it can get fairly good ranges even with the holes makes me excited for the overall potential of the blaster.

Yes,

I think this blaster has more potential than it's being given credit for.

It may be difficult to find a suitable sized complete replacement for the plunger tube, but I'm thinking a 3D printed collar for the outside that has raised sections to fill the slots, then possibly using the smoothing/polishing methods described earlier to fill the inside of the slots with epoxy or putty.

If that was to work I'd probably go onto a heavy spring.

And then how about a full mag well insert that converted it to a standard clip/darts run through a 9/16" brass barrel...

Haven't seen one in person yet, but these are just ideas that spring to mind
