Hey Guys, I felt like it would be a good idea to have a thread for 3D designs organized by their creators.

1) The File in at least two formats:
a. A format that can be directly used to create the design with the intended production type (ie: a .stl for 3D printing)
b. A format that can be edited by other designers: (ie cad .stp files, etc)
2)(Optional but recommended) An image or quick video of the design.
3) If the design has any previous threads, please provide those as well.
Just post your designs in the comments following a similar format.

(Side note to the mods, should someone else be running this? I rarely come on anymore.)

I don't understand how to make these Kronos
USER WAS SUSPENDED FOR THIS POST

Your last posts have demonstrated no desire to look up anything, as a Google search for "stl" "what do i do with stl files" "how to print stl" "make 3d stl" all reveal enough information within the top 3 results for you formulate much better questions.

Well you need to have a means of manufacturing, such as a 3D printer.

Nerf style Claymore Mine. This is untested, so if someone decides to print one let me know how it turns out. Sometime in march of next year I should have my 3d printer and I would be happy to Make a video on the assembly process or you can PM me and I'll be happy to answer questions.

This instructable, which I did not write, explains how to get 3d models off of McMaster parts.

That's right, you can get 3d models off of McMaster parts, which you can then 3d print. That's a pretty big deal, at the least you can use them to check the correctness of your part order and you could conceivably use and/or modify the parts to print your design wholesale.

ED: The attached flywheel cage I didn't design (got it from Nerfgeek416 on reddit here), but I did just modify. If I make more changes I'll update here:

This is a really nice feature I noticed last time I did a write-up. Super helpful for getting models of PVC fittings and such.

One thing I want to note here is that any of their CAD models that include threads or other helical surfaces (like springs) should be downloaded as Solidworks files whenever possible. Those surfaces tend to be broken in the other file formats they offer.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Sorry if reviving a thread like this is against the rules, but I recently designed this turret cover plate for my AT2K and I'd like to share it with anyone else who needs it.

https://www.thingive...m/thing:2764952

Note: My particular AT2K has a 1/2" PVC coupler attached slightly higher than the center point of the tank, so depending on your AT2K setup this may not fit.
