I can't really impose upon you, since I don't even know if I can make it, but I would think you would want to go with Beall, just because this may be your only shot at a soccer-free war there before it gets warmer.

Yea, what Langley said is true.

According to the MSI site (whith is the only soccer league that plays at Beall, to my knowledge), their Spring season starts the weekend of April 14th and 15th, and runs through mid June.

Thoughts? If we were to war at Beall, we'd obviously have the traditional "lab" area (the portables, which create a nice CQB environment), but I could also put up some mobstacles (although they may be rather simple and makeshift- you've been warned; I guarentee they'll work, though) on the soccer field, where in the past we've only played with that area open. The open field hasn't been a problem for up to 12 or so people, but having more cover is always nice.

I do like Beall, and what Langley brought up is true, but also having a shootout with such high powered blasters everywhere could be bad inside the labyrinth of the Temporaries.

I don't think it'd be too much of a problem- at DCNF 1 and 1.5, we had snapbows, RBPs (one, hehe), 4Bs, and airtechs on the field and it worked well.

Assuming most people are using hoppers on the higher powered blasters with slug or slug-like ammo, you should be fine. It was only ever really hairy in the portables when people were firing slingshot domes out of ridiculous airguns.

Doom, would Beall work for you? Would you have means of transportation there?

I can attend Beall, but it would take me a while to get there.

Alright guys....Beall would work better for me, at this point.
Does anyone have anything else to input? Would Beall work for everyone? Would you all be OK with it? Prefer it? Or would you prefer Calvert? We need to get this moving.

I'm good on either, or other places, between them. Beall looks like it would have TheSaz there, and you on time and not lose anybody.

Beall had a great layout, especially for objectives.

I'm fine with beall, though my opinion doesn't count for much since I've never been there.The larger the war, the better, easpecially for those of us coming from further away

I don't particularly care where it ends up being. Just really hope that Doom's available because otherwise I'd have to leave at about 2-3 AM to get there by 9. I've seen crazier things done for wars though (like NC to NY to MS), getting there is not the concern...it's getting back that sucks.

I'm flexible on location, will likely be there regardless of location.

But on a side note, In my opinion, we should keep DC war's to a single name. If for no other purpose than having the nerf war with the longest roman numeral after it!

We are at 9 confirmed definites right now, but an equal number of maybes. Maybes, get your butts confirmed ASAP! Not much else to say now, as we are still a bit over 2 weeks away from the war. I'll give you guys some more info, if there is any to give, as the date gets closer.

I'm a maybe (sorry to add to the list). I've got the weekend clear, I'm in the process of arranging transportation.

I'll know for sure if I'm coming in a couple of days. However, since it's a 6-7 hour drive, I'll be watching the weather. Barring a blizzard on the East coast I'll make it. I've been itching for an outdoor war.

I wanna make this war so badly, but I wouldn't be able to make it until around 1. It might be worth making the trip though. Let me put this out there, would anyone be able to rent me CPVC springer darts that feed in hoppers? I would pay like $10 if I could just use some darts for the few rounds that I'm there.

Depending on how many personal darts I end up making, I might be able to let you dig into my stash while you're there. It's just you, right? No guests or anything?
