Tentative Details
Date: Sunday November 20th
Location: Harmony House Grove in Round Hill Park (in Elizabeth, PA)

Location is subject to confirmation that no one else has reserved the grove/shelter (though I think that's unlikely at this time of year).

Date is subject weather. If it seems like it's going to be pretty terrible, we'll move it to the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov 27th). No matter what, I'm sure it will be fairly cold and possibly damp, so dress appropriately and wear layers you can take off when we're playing and put back on when we're not.

There's not much around the park, so I suggest bringing a lunch if you want to eat during the day.

Rules:
1. Listen to/do what more experienced people tell you to do
2. Don't be an idiot

No specific dart or blaster restrictions, but rulings may be made at the war. If you bring a singled titan or super soaker, or use darts with pins sticking out the front, bring backups because I probably won't allow them. If you are worried I may ban something, feel free to ask in this thread.

Are you planning on being in PA for the holidays Flamin? If so, maybe we'll look into something super legit for December,
especially if NerfMonkey is coming back then too. I might even be able to get BuccoBlaster, and Badwrench to attend. Maybe
we could even get an indoor thing going on? That's dreaming big though.

It's unlikely. The holidays are a very busy time for the hotel business and I will probably have my balls in a vice in the kitchen on Christmas this year. I have no idea when I'll make it back.

Ya, at Cedar Creek Park they have a gorge trail thats like 2 miles long that winds through the woods with all kinds of trails leading into the woods. Theres great places for losing and all kinds of stuff.

If you could provide pictures of the area you think would be good for a war, that'd add some incentive, but from he description, it sounds like a loser's corridor that would just eat darts. I'd like to try and scout it in person at some point, but don't know when I might get a chance to.


P.S.: I don't mean to sound like a dick about asking for photos, but we've played on trails before (Armstrong sometimes, Roundhill, and at Apoc), and while it's not bad for a little bit, an entire war in that situation doesn't strike me as interesting.

Less than two weeks to the first suggested date, so let's have some solid decisions:

1. Before or right after Thanksgiving?
2. Dormont, Round Hill, or Cedar Creek (new place)?

Pretty sure you said that the last time you went to roundhill...and I'm pretty sure you were wrong then, too.

I'm a maybe. Most likely chance of me going would be if Ron (Guy I work with, came to the Highland Park war) were to go, and hopefully drive, or if I sell +$100 of nerf stuff and can purchase so much go-go-juice for my van.

Start time is 10am, but that's usually...optimistic.

The weather is currently looking better on Saturday. Would it be better/worse for anyone if we shifted to November 19th?
