So what you are trying to say is that the bb is going to add 60ft? Please, 9v mods have been done many many times before and they all come out to be around 50ft flat.
There is no way that you got those ranges with stock motors and that battery. If anyone doesn't believe me then pop a 9v in a barricade, tape the wheels and use weighted streamlines and see for yourself. I guarantee you will not be getting 100ft ranges.
A better comparison would be the Rayven, which as sgnerf has shown, are capable of hitting 80-100 feet; the same ranges the OP claims.
Yeah, go look at that.http://www.modworks....d-guide_27.html
The rayven is getting 80-100 feet from "Streamlines to calibrated stefans", but its running on 16.8 volts, no where near 100-120 at 9 volts.
Even at 12 volts its only getting 60-70ft
Darthrambo, if you are going to call someone out over ranges how about you do the mod or similar mod for yourself first? You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, and all you have to say is negative and not constructive to the discussion at all.
I don't have to do this mod to know it doesn't get those ranges. Tons of people have, it is probably the most common mod done to a barricade and every one comes up with around the same numbers which are all around half what this guy is claiming.
For some strange reason I went on a flywheel kick and now own 9 flywheel guns, not including 3 I have got rid of. I have tried out different voltage with all of them and know what they are and are not capable of.
I'm not sure what I could say that would be constructive about someone who is obviously just making ranges up.
In the end I really don't care, I was just giving a heads up to anyone who looked at this thinking they were going to get 100ft out of a barricade with a 9v in it.
I'm done here, if you want to blindly believe the guy go ahead, but if you ever get a barricade throw a 9 volt in there and see for yourself.
