So I found one of these at a local Goodwill last night along with a $4 Crossbow! My lucky stars!!!



I immediately liked several things about the design. Its rock solid, its well balanced, has a huge handle, a great pump handle, and it has Nerf tactical rails on it. But like most stupid Super Soakers they're making nowadays, it had no trigger. What good is gun with no trigger? So I took care of that.



That's an AT2K trigger that's been shaved down, is sliding along a barrel piece from a Longshot hot-glued in place.



I had to cut a hole like this to get the trigger in. It was easier than you'd think, especially when you take the water cap off the top.



I drilled a hole in the front of the tank and ran a wire from the trigger to the air tank. You're going to want to remove the original firing mechanism first, otherwise this wont work.

Attach an RSCB and you're in business! The modification is pretty darn easy, this whole thing took me maybe 2 hours to do, most of which was spent brainstorming ideas. But now you should be able to do this yourselves fairly quickly, and I recommend you do so. This thing is awesome! Gets pretty good ranges too! It shoots farther the more you pump it and you can pump it as much as you'd like. After a while the pumps start to have no extra effect, but 5 pumps gets about 80 feet, 8 pumps breaks 100 feet, and 12 pumps gets about 120 feet

Excellent! I just did this to one of mine a few weeks ago; still working on the trigger though, it's a bit finicky, since I chose to retain the original "lever" trigger. Also, just FYI, the blaster is called the "Shot blast," not the "Blast Shot."

Touche, I'll fix that. It even says it on the gun, I just didn't look. Haha.

I couldn't if I wanted to, its inside the tank which is dark and the only way you can see it is by holding your eye to the fill hole on the top. I couldn't get a good picture, I tried. Sorry.

I am a bit intimidated by squirt gun conversions but it looks to me like this is as simple as 1) adding a trigger system and 2) putting on you choice of barrel. Is it really that simple?

yes.... well at least it is for me- I don't know if you saw it at spano but I had a conversion that had the about the same(or more) power as a pluged 4B(after like 25-30 pumps that is cause the thing was leaking). And this model already had a triger so all I had to do was cut some stuff and seal everything up. (and add a cpvc coupler at the nozel).

Mine was a rather simple conversion but im sure there are plenty of ways to make it more complicated.

@SRSJ, It is really that easy, I did a commision for some one, I cut off the handle, a LS front gun handle slots in easily, connect a piece of copper wire or clothes hanger and voila, I even managed to get the RSCB inside the shell by moving the airtank back and down, cutting out the filler cap so the rscb could be loaded from there and keep the comfy shoulder stock, only downside is that the tank nor pump hava a OPRV, so over pumping ended up using pliers to pull the wire for releasing the air...................Also did a large amount of dremeling out the insides and pump handle, even parts of the watertank to accomodate the rscb.............

Yes, squirt gun conversions can be very simple. This one was very easy and it ended up functioning better than a lot of Nerf guns. The super soaker Max D series are very easy to convert, they already have triggers and pumps and everything you need, just slap a coupler on it and you're good to go. The only problem is, most squirt guns use the water-fill tank as the pressure tank, meaning you have to pressurize an huge tank with a tiny pump just to get the air pressure, but when you do, you'll have an air tank with twice the volume of a Titan tank to drive your dart. So its about picking and choosing which squirt guns work best being converted. I like the new guns they make with separate air tanks like this one, they're very easy.

Or feed the pump output into a PVC tank of your own making. As always, PVC tanks should never the pressurized above a reasonable point, say 30 psi. Some water guns have an OPRV, others don't. YMMV.
