[Famine]

As promised here is the first round of info for the war that The Horsemen are planning on hosting May 30th.

When: May 30th (see above) 10am-5:30pm
Where: Weltz Park aka- Deal Test Site, Ocean Twp
Who: Anyone who shows up with a Nerf gun and some darts is in.
What: Continuing with our trend of innovation and experimentation, Vacc and I are planning on trying out a system that could be a whole new way to Nerf.

FYI: If things go the way we plan this Nerf war should be more demanding than any other Nerf Out you've been in. There will be no breaks, no time in between rounds, no ordering out for food, everything will be done during live play.

I'd like to start hearing from everyone as soon as possible. The more people that can show up to this the better, the theme of this war is going to be wide-area multiterrain combat. Fields, hills, brush, streams, bridges, urban settings.

As it turns out, Weltz Park and Deal Test site are two different parks... stupid monmouth county park people don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

Ok, I'll be there the 30th and probably not the 8th. I have to think about whether I want to take the day off. Fact of the matter is, I need the money.

We'd really like to see alot of the LCM show up if at all possible. I mean, we've caught a lot of heat for the invitational we ran, and we're really making an effort to create an environment with this war where everybody can come and have a great war. So if you think there's any chance you or your friends (for those that don't visit the boards) can make it, please let us know.

I would absolutely love to go guys. However I fall into the same boat as Shindig. That's Memorial Day. If I went to my boss and asked for that off I think he would laugh in my face. The Garden Center Industry banks on that holiday so I can guarantee that I will most likely not be able to make it due to work. However i could run it past him and see what happens. Right now, put me down for a no show, but I will let you know for sure ASAP. THe 8th is definitely out for me also.

Well to be honest, may 30th was not a date selected by famine or I as far as I can tell. I was under the impression that the 30th was decided on earlier for a may war by we nerfers in general. If there is a date that would be more convenient (the 23rd perhaps) you should let us know. We NEED a good turnout for the park we want to use. So please speak up, everybody. Mantis, Evil, Warlock; let us know about the others in your clan too if at all possible.

23rd sounds better now that I think about it, I do believe that the person that argued for the May 30th date is not coming to any wars anytime soon. That would be Langley.

Alright, before we go and officially set the 23rd in stone I'd like to see who would be able to make it for the 23rd. So, show of hands here kids. Who would come on the 23rd?

I would like to say I will be there. Again, my work schedule DOMINATES my spring weekends. I perhaps could work out a deal, by working during the week in place of sunday, but I just don't know yet. I will let you know ASAP. I have a better chance of the 23rd then the 30th. At this point, May might not work for me at all, but I know if I don't get sundays off in June-Aug, I won't be working there.
