The length is 1 1/2 inches and the diameter is 1 1/4 inches without all of the attached auto rotation junk on it.
It also has a small flat side to it that is 3/4 inches.
If yoou plan on intergrating make sure you have some method of cutting off all the Auto rotate junk.

To remove all of the rotation stuff, you could use a dremel, a scroll saw, a hacksaw, or go medieval on its ass with a knife. Really, you don't need a write up. Peace.

Couldn't sum it up better myself.
Personally I cut off most of the stuff with wire clippers actually, then dremel.
