I was thinking, could this work with a normal pin tank instead of a backpressure? I was afraid of all of the air going into the At3k tank at once, and breaking it. Would a hard tank work instead of MS bladders?

yeah, a hard tank would work as long as you don't fill it with a ton of pressure. It would work with a pin powered blaster too... It would just be harder since you would have to rig the trigger up to it.

Uhhhh, you know PVC and the fittings that go with it? I have genuine faith that you can figure it out without having your hand held along the way.

If it does in fact work, I might use that instead of the other parts that i was planning for V2. Is it pretty tiny in size? Does it let out the air fast enough to fire a larger tank, or is it meant for a smaller tank? If this works, I won't use the factory produced blast button and push button. I'll just use this.

I should have worded that differently, I am only unsure of what nipples to put on the outside of the tank, to attach to the 1/4" vinyl tubing. I would like suggestions because I don't want to fuck up the tank.

If you look at my Airtech 2000 tank expansion, it should give you some ideas. I didn't use a nipple or anything. I just super glued some tubing into a reasonably tight hole. From there, I solvent welded it in place.

Well, I was going to order this... I saw that it shipped from cincinnati ohio, which I live 20 minutes (MAYBE) from. I then proceeded to make an order. They want 8.77 for shipping, and then they have a 10 dollar handling fee on top of that. That is just total BS. 10 dollars to put something in a padded envelope? 8.77 to ship something that is the size of 5 nickels stacked on top of each other down the street? RIDICULOUS.

Ordering from the Clippard site isn't the best choice. Oftentimes you can find the products on ebay or other sites with much more reasonable S+H. I got a regulator from them a while back, and it was actually from an industrial surplus site. So just look around and search for the item number, and it should show up eventually.

Try clicking the "Distributors" link in the sidebar of the Clippard site, then enter your zip code. They may have a store that sells their product locally, or close to locally. I found one near me I'll be checking out to pick up my own sweet semi-auto awesomeness.

I tried that, but it's pretty far away... I figure I might as well just make a big order eventually, that way shipping is cheaper.

I live rather far away from the Clippard distributor nearest to me. I called them on the phone and they shipped my order to me. There was no problem, and I greatly appreciated the reduced cost.

I think you're confused. The problem is that Clippard has absurd shipping and handling charges. I didn't order from Clippard. I ordered from a distributor. The distributor did not have an online store. All orders not processed physically in the store were done over the phone. I got the same reduced price distributors have and I didn't have to pay Clippard's absurd charges.
