If everyone listed were to show up (given, that's incredibly unlikely) we'd be up to 22 already. I think we may need to cap attendance (counting people who can confirm attendance) for this thing somewhere. The arena will only hold so many people comfortably. Go far past that capacity, and you just can't ever leave cover. Last year probably brought us close to the upper limit of funnability in terms of attendance.
Also, in response to Ryan's request and Red Shot's assertion of dartsmithing, is it safe to say we're gonna have standard dart restrictions here? With the lack of wind indoors I see no upside to heavy or domes darts.

I was mostly wondering what game types will be played? I would not drive 24 hours to play five hours of deathmatch.
The venue doesn't give us a ton of options in terms of game types. I think we talked about a 3 or 4 round rotation after the last war, but we've yet to really discuss what the third or fourth rounds would be (after death match and perpendicular pistols). CTF is the obvious choice for the arena, but I've still yet to see a fun nerf variant of ctf. I guess we'll have to give it a go. We could also go all lazer tag and do a variant on dtc with each team having a base with a core inside.
That said, this is the east coast; expect copious amounts of death match.
I think the key here is to have a plan going in so we can really tear through these rounds and get as many as we can in before our time expires. If we choose the 3 or 4 game types we can stick with the same teams for each rotation (with tweaks between rounds if neccessary) and really elminate downtime. If we want we can even build side swaps in so each team gets to take turns playing each side of the arena. In that case I'd go with something like the following sequence:
- pick teams - DM/switch sides DM/Pistols/CTF/switch sides CTF - break -
- pick teams - DM/ switch sides DM/Pistols/DTC/ switch sides DTC - break -
- pick teams - DM/switch sides DM/Pistols/CTF/switch sides CTF - break -
and so on (though getting 15 rounds in would be pretty ridiculous in itself). We allow minimal water/bathroom breaks every other round, and we can really get some fuckign nerf in. If we let people wander back into the staging room, 20 minutes are forfeit.
