[nerf mafia]

My B-day is coming up soon, as is shrubs, so we were looking at having a b-day war. September the 11th seems to be the date that works out best, however I know somepeople might not like the idea of having a war on that particullar date due to it being disrespectfull.

So what I am looking at from you is, would this date be fine for you, and if not is it due to it being disrespectfull.

The low down
1. Be there around 9:00 if you can, so we can get started at 10:00
2. We will be going to cinci's pizza after the war for dinner, so bring money if you want to go. CiCi's is a buffet, and should cost about 5 bucks for the buffet, although I can't remember for sure, and drinks are extra. So bring 10 bucks and you'll be safe.
3.the banned list

4. We currently don't plan on going anywhere as a group for lunch, however than any many places near by, we will break for lunch, and you can eat food you brought, or go somewhere.

We are going to try something new this war, we will have mutliple war hosts.

Ok the theory behind multiple hosts is, so that, 1. they will serv as field monitors, 2. they will be there if any of the others will be late, or unable to attend, then we will have other people to make sure things run smoothly, 3. they will help keep things headed in the right direction, if there is too much time between rounds, or anything like that. Basically I know this is what they do at BAFF and I felt it may benefit nerf in our area, and the field monitor idea has been used at many East coast wars, and from what I hear it went fairly well. Also the other part of the theory was having multiple host would draw attendance, because yes I did post the thread for the war, but no I am not planning to be the only host, becuase honestly sometimes being the host can get boring.

Yes HAMPS are fine, however we do reserv the right to spot ban, any blaster, or war attendant, if the hosts see it to be in the best interest of the group.

I'm a maybe (who would like to be a yes). I've been rather busy recently what with a job (first job is not bad at all actually) and other things, so I've not had the time to get around to working on a war-worthy primary, or get some weights to make darts. Even if I end up showing up with a lightly modded Hyperfire and some hotglue-only stefans I'd like to make it, if only just to experience my first "real" war (the most
I've been a part of before was 5 people + myself) and meet "superbunny" (*cough*mike*cough*) who I know from the nerf facebook page.

So the war is tommorow people, lets get some of these maybe's turned into def's. I'll send out a message to the group on facebook reminding them. Also don't forget eyeprotection, money for dinner (cici's) if you plan to go with the group, and lunch if you want it. I don't know forsure if the restrooms will be unlocked,its incredibly likely they will be, but there are no gaurantee. Also bring plenty of water. I shall be there at 9:00, and we plan to start a 10:00. So see everyone tommorow. Trading time will be before 10:00, during lunch break, and after the war this will help keep things moving. Also everyone is required to participate in dartsweeps, we've had issues with this before, and it works better, and fast if we work together.

Having no Stefans made, no finished primary, rain, and a paper to write utterly and completely sucks. Meeting Mike/superbunny IRL was cool though, and the XXL Bazooka had awesome recoil. With some luck I may actually be able to Nerf at the next Nerf war otherwise I might just end up hosting one myself.
