I'll finally be putting two together in the next couple weeks. Just a heads up for people buying the parts, my hardware store doesn't have either of the PVC pieces needed (the reducer bushing and the coupler), so my attempt to just buy them at a local store rather than McMaster was thwarted. Check this out before you buy, or just play it safe and buy them off McMaster regardless.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but I always thought the name meant this.

And Slug, how do you recommend drilling a centered hole into the side of nylon rod (like I'd need to do for the rod above the trigger)?

Mark the spot using a sharpie, then use a nail and hammer to put a centering dent/punch on that spot. That will make drilling that spot easier.
You can drill halfway through from each side to make sure they're as perpendicular to each other as possible.

Old thread, but relevant question. Slug, your guide says to use 2 1-1/4" screws, but the parts list says to buy 1-1/2" screws. It looks like the one for the plunger should be at least 1-1/2", and the trigger just at least needs to be an inch long, unless I am understanding the parts wrong.
