Hey, got a question: Is it alright if my brother comes too? He's 11, and I want to know if since he's under 13 and doesn't have an account on the site, he needs a parent to be there during the rounds. I was just reading another war thread that had a rule like that and wondered.

We don't have age rules. My parents usually take photos at all the wars so they are there but your parents are welcome to to come and watch the war if they are concerned. We've always had a good group of people and have lots of fun. Don't forget your lunch and plenty to drink.

Good to know for the next one, but unfortunately he isn't coming; he's going to this YuGiOh Regionals thing in Puyallup tomorrow morning.
Although I just finished up my Quadshot with an Inline clip, so that's cool. By the way, will anybody there be selling darts, or just have darts to use by any chance? I'm making up a bunch tomorrow, but they keep shotgunning out of my Quadshot, and I've bought two bags of foam today trying to find some wider stuff.

Dayko, do you need flags or flagging tape? The flags are legitimately flags and they stick in the ground. I have two colors of flagging tape. Reply by tomorrow, or I'll just throw them in the car... they aren't bulky or anything.

Alright, today's the day! Just got some breakfast, bringing a tote of nerf guns. I'll be heading out in about 20 minutes to beat the traffic, so yeah, see you guys there!

I just got back, and I had a BLAST. First of all, thanks a bunch to Daniel for hosting this; lots of fun.
Pros/Cons/Highlights:

Pros:
-Got two fantastically painted TTG's from Blacksunshine for $5 each.
-Tested out my RSCB'd Quadshot--- it did pretty well, I was getting probably 75 to 80 feet flat with it, more than I expected considering I haven't increased the plunger seal.
-Got to see a bunch of great blasters, including Daniel's bright pink monstrously hard to prime PAS. That was... interesting.
-Just getting out and Nerfing. Got some excercise, some some, and a couple of blasters as well.

Cons:

-Got grazed on the face when using Freyr's Plusbow; I now officially have battle scars!
-Got hit in the side of the face by an RSCB'd Nat Geo blaster. Ouch.
-Many more welts; that's to be expected though, and makes it half the fun!

Highlights:

-Kyle's insane Matrix dodge as I tried to shoot him with the quadshot. What made it the most Effeminate was that he actually fell on his ass while doing so.
- ORANGE PRANCING UNICORNS. I'll leave it at that.
-Getting a magnet that says "Effeminate Summer 2010 Nerfmania" on it. Winsauce.


Thanks again for having the war Daniel, that was more fun than I've had at any war previously, and I'll hope to be at a few more this summer.

Thanks to Dayko for hosting, Tuna for buying, Sunshine for selling, and everybody else for everything else. That was truly a great start to what I'm sure will be an amazing summer. I'm already pumped for the next one.

Dayko, I'm working on a way to send you the video I have of the Civil War. It's too big for e-mail, obviously, but I'm also finding it too big for most online hosts. I may split it in half -- PM me.

It was alot of fun. I'm super happy i won the civil war, and that shotguns still have a fighting chance even in long range fights.

Whoo what a war. We had an awesome turn out, I think we had 12 or 14 people show up. Thanks to everyone for showing up and playing today.

Pros:
Getting to meet some old and new faces.

Getting out and Nerfing again.

Nailing Kevin with a boomerang axe in Zombies.

Playing Ultimate Defense in the CTF game.

Seeing Flaming Hilt dance around the Nerf field was awesome.

Having my LongShot with an integrated AT3K performing good, made some good shots with it in the CTF rounds.

Using my Bright Pink and Purple PAS.

Getting some hopefully good footage of the Civil war round.

Playing some pretty awesome rounds.

Prancing Unicorns. Effeminate.

Having the weather stay good all day.

Having a couple of Nerfers see what were doing and stop by and play with us.

Cons:
Running and jumping through the tree line to hit Broderick and falling into a lower part of the ground and twisting my knee, that hurt. I was on the ground for a good two minutes.

Having my SM1.5 trigger break during the second round.

Having my PAS trigger break.




Those are some great photos. I'll get mine up in the next few days and I'll start with the video soon.
Again thanks for everyone for coming. I'm looking forward to the next one.


I also have some ones Maverick and NiteFinder that they left. I also have the Flags that Flaming Hilt brought. I can give the stuff back at the next war.

I went through the album, there was like one picture where I was actually in view. In the rest I was either bending down looking at welts, firing vertically (in one, made me lol), or in the group picture, my face is being blocked by a kid's raider drum.

This will most likely be the last nerf war I will be attending. I have decided that I no longer have the time to dedicate to nerfing or the pursuit of Effeminate Nerfdom.
Forgetting to wear eye protection and then getting nailed in the side of the head by a streamline at 20'.

deforestation
overweight women that smell funny.
(The last three things had nothing to do with the war they just suck)

For next time I wouldn't mind have a Ridiculous Weapons Round. Ballguns, Mavericks, Push-Pulls, other guns that suck, swords, shields, etc.
