I'm fine with the location change, but Langford is a big step down in quality IMO.

Newell is a great location, but it gets crowded when the weather is nice out. It is, for that reason, not a good spring/summer location. Highland and Langford are better choices at this time a year.

I did not notice

Much deviation in fun

Playing at Langford.

The biggest problem

At Newell for me is there's

Only trees for cover.

One question I have:

Is "only" one syllable,

Or two? I think one.

Lemme know what you think, VACC. :)

Alright, Langford is where it's at now. I know that it isn't as good as Newell, but I would much prefer not risking a bunch of issues with pedestrians.

Definitely two

You suckas can't count too well

Go back to school

A bad haiku still beats out most other forms of poetry though, so good work, haha.

P.S. the best part is that in your last haiku you did use it as 2 syllables.

I am too cool for school.

(5-37-5)

Did you do that typo just to make me feel better, or was it another case of attempted correctness?

Never mind, maybe I should go back to school, haha.

Younger half had his say, now elder half has his:
In case anyone hadn't noticed, the Slow Children are back together. Don't expect anything productive or conclusive to occur. I'm out of goop and I can't get my BBBBs opvr to work, so for the 3rd war in a row my arsenal is limited. But my NF, LB5, Cobra and maybe BBB are ready to rock, and WE ACTUALLY MADE DARTS! AND WE HAVE TWINKIES! LOTS AND LOTS OF TWINKIES! I realized we have a hostess discount store near us and I can get Twinkies cheap. w00t.
Stuff I need:
Recon Bolt Sled
Raider Stock
LSFG
Old style TTG barrel
Stock LS shell
LS tac rails (the one everyone cuts off the top)
Recon Accessory's (don't ask)
Bring it and I will pay.

Totally true. Newell's only point in its favor is the back up park, but that park kinda sucks. For early season wars, its awesome. For summer, there is too much going on.

@ Nerf Bros: I have a LSFG and a recobnd bolt assembly (I think) If you want it, its yours.

Also, if you guys have any shells that I could possibly shoehorn a SNAP into, I'm in the market.

Especially longstrikes. I would really like to get my hands on one, and am too lazy to find it in stores.

Ummmm......shit, there looks to be a very high chance of precipitation. Is anyone up for having the war on Sunday? Next week does not work for me, and I honestly don't think this war is worth having if we don't have it on this weekend. I wouldn't mind just having everyone show up no matter what, seeing how the conditions are, and if it sucks we just do something else instead, because I would honestly rather just hang out with everyone rather than have to deal with nerfing in shitty weather.

Alright, yeah, I say just show up no matter what guys. We'll give nerfing a shot, if it sucks, we'll do something else.....I'm not really sure what though. Go to a mall perhaps? Any other indoor activities in the area?

I will have my van there tomorrow. I wonder if it will really rain or if it will be like the last 20 times its "gonna rain". Lets plan on it guys. If shit hits the fan, we'll find something else to do.

Exactly man. Just because we can't nerf doesn't mean we can't hang out. So yeah, like I said, everyone show up even if it is pouring outside.

The new "Julian" gun is complete (minus paint), so prepare to see that thing in action. There is so much hot glue on it, its scary.

My vote is play through the rain. I don't care if it rains, personally I think the rain would offer a new perspective on the sport. (if you can call it that) A little rain never hurt anybody. I just want to nerf.

Yeah, the "doing other stuff" plan is only if the rain is just unbearable. I'd rather not have to worry about making up another activity myself, so nerfing is the most likely event of the day, of course.

I woke up this morning to a thunder storm. Not sure if this is a "Don't Nerf today" warning, or a "Thor and Zeus are out there, and they will make your darts into lightning, you must Nerf" sign. I'm gonna go with the second one.

The weather channel gives us an odd bell curve of precip chances- 45% at 11, 55% at 12, 10% at 1, 10% at 2, then 70% at 3. I see a two hour window of awesome, so lets do this thing!
