Interesting. It's more simple than the titan setups usually used as "grenade" launchers.

The problem is that there really isn't any better solution that would fit your launcher. Lanard makes a sort of grenade, but it would be much to large for this.

Try searching for "nerf grenade". You'll find that there really isn't anything better than the film canister grenade that would suit your purposes. Chances are you'll have to create the grenade yourself, but I would still search this site for more ideas.

You could actually use the any of the practice golf balls as a direct replacement for the film canisters. Which seems a little less mean than shooting plastic cylinders at people.

Thanks for the idea. Yes i have tried the film canister grenade that is just two canisters wrapped with a rubber band but the blast radius wasn't any better than the original fc grenade and the distance was cut in half.

If you want things to explode, play paintball or airsoft. This is nerf. Explosions are for milsim.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

If you want something that is war practical and kind of like a grenade launcher then minimize and do this to a titan. But seriously, simulated explosions are for milsim, not nerf. Go get a lanard scatter blast if you really want a "explosion"

Why not use a nerf football? Just find some tiny ones, or make some Mongos for it. Or, better yet, Put a 1" chunk of pipe insulator that fits in the pipe you used for the launcher, fill the hole in it, load 1/2"X1/2" mini stefans in, then add another 1" segment of the pipe insulator mentioned above. Proceed to have shotgunny effect.

Calm down a bit on the "OMG EXPLOSIONS" bad talk (not trying to be rude). While this certainly isn't perfect, you have to give him credit for trying. Sure, having a true Nerf Grenade is next to impossible, but if someone makes one that's successful and works without killing/maiming somebody, then I'd be more than happy to let them use it at a war.

If someone's creative enough to make the concept work, then all glory to them!

Im not gonna lie, I like the idea of using a spring to push the "grenade" rather then using air. I think, with some more testing, this could be a pretty ingenious tool. Like, using a string to prime it, and having something other than a knex piece to fire it.

Hey, titans are cool, but this is pretty cool too. And honestly alot simpler.

I really like the grenade idea and this is one of the better ideas if have seen. The grenade does have its limitations. i would say the a scattershot( like with a bbbb or a Titian) is really the true grenade of Nerf. They have a good area of were they can hit a person and are hard to dodge. Grenades are better for getting around cover so they have advantages too.

If no one is interested no one is interested. Think of it like this...say you take your dick out in front of a girl and she's not interested in it. It doesn't help to smack her in the face again with it 7 days later.

Confetti launchers. These came from a "Party America" store:

The little ones couldn't hold more than maybe three darts, but the bigger one has some potential. Cost about $4, I think.

I have some of the smaller variety. You can fit 6 or 7 darts in them and they fire about 20 feet. They work surprisingly well actually.
