Ahhh, the good ol' days... I assume the cent.org vets will remember The Reverend, that kid whose parents were highly offended at the language we used back in those days? Heheh, I still tell people to "go sit in the corner with the Reverend" when they do something stupid.
I think I went searching for archives of the old lists a few years back, relatively unsuccessfully, in my futile attempts to resurrect my crappy-yet-cool Nerf Warfare Quake modification (which was infinitely better than the other Nerf Quake mod which surfaced later on). I'm not sure I'd really WANT to find a magical library of our works, though; while it may be cool to reminisce about old times, I'm not sure I'd really want to sift through the several hundred flame-mails we used to send, per day, at the height of our got-nothing-else-to-do-so-I'll-post-to-the-listserv times.
In conclusion, pants.

Have you checked the WaybackMachine to see if they archived it?Anybody contacted Hal, by the way? He's got the only surviving archive of my site somewhere (or used to).. I'm hoping he can fire a copy back at me.

so much hostility, so much ANGER! Damn that Rap Music!!!!I'm just warning you, if you do what everyone else that has tried to do this has done, I'll not only do all that I can to keep it off this site (which is a lot), I'll also personally deride you to no end.
-my memories of the listserve. are watching everyone flame hal, and going on vacation only to come back to 300 emails to read. Goodtimes. Heh I was just a little taitertot back then. I was so young and dumb, and I lookedup to the elder nerfers, untill I met them... then I really wokeup, finding that they were all just a buncha old perves and Jersey freaks! Man, we REALLY need to get the Horsemen back down here for an Armageddon some year, and kidnap GOO from the bowls of Texas! Not to mention picking Ozzy outa whatever gutter hes been lyin in for the last 3 years...

"I win! Now give me some crappy porn!"
The "I Win" topic always had its times, whether they be good or bad. There was a person who always got flamed and flamed there. . . . He had the red helmet guy from Star Wars as his avatar.

Yet another argument for celebecy.I actually looked up to Goo at Nerf Online, when I was Lildinoman/Bobthecommentator. He could get away with a lot of shit that newbs couldn't, and people would think it was funny.

Just checked airfare and it looks like you can find tickets for under $300 per person, roundtrip. That's for Friday 6/11 (morning) depart and Sunday 6/13 (evening) return. It seems similar for other departure and return dates during that approximate time frame.
Note that we haven't finalized the date for the war yet...

As the only Horseman that hasn't gotten out to an Armageddon yet, I'm gonna have to say, "Oh, fucking HELL YES."
Once again, my two damned cents.
Sorry forgot how to quote properly... *smack
It's on the second page for your information...
I believe that is the quote Cxwq is relating back to.

Speaking of sites, I was very suprised to see that my old site, Nerf UK, was actually still up - good old Fortune City. I really need to download the whole site to my HDD just in case it dies online. For old times sake, you know?
Edit: Just remembered, I wrote an (incomplete) list of the nerfers on the old OneList which might be of some use, as a lot of them on there are no longer around.

Actually, it was Nickis that got the first post in and demanded porn and beer or something.I actually looked up to Goo at Nerf Online, when I was Lildinoman/Bobthecommentator. He could get away with a lot of shit that newbs couldn't, and people would think it was funny.

Be sure to mention something about NANANANANAN GUNTHERMOBILE and that crazy guy on NC years ago who made up the stories about The Tribe attacking him and his Nerf Paratroopers. I can't for the life of me remember what his name was...it's on the tip of my tougne. And Gold-plated Pikachu Razor scooters. And mounting Wildfires on bikes.
Doogie is still hiding out at electronic mayhem I think. He was around the same time I was. Which must've been the summer of 98 or 99. I remember my and my friend "Frogg" were modding some of our nerf guns and we decided to go online to see if anyone else modded guns, not expecting to find anything. We found NerfOnline first, and that is where I stayed.
The Lozi party should also be mentioned. Comrade Lobster, Dr. Genius, Occ. Hazard and a few others tried to take over the forums by flaming all the newbs. They did it a couple times, I remember.
So yeah...good luck

You're not on there probably because you weren't active on that list. I only remember Death and Vacc being active from the Horsemen, and Goo never said anything. After reading through your roster I'm guessing you joined Hal's Nerflist@onelist.com. That was maybe the 5th generation list and a very poor mockery of the original. I have a roster off of the Nerf-On list (maybe 3rd gen?) which has a few people on there you left out. Christ you didn't even list Goo... of ME for that matter. Ass.

Other fun facts:
Starbuck is who I was thinking of with the crazy stories.
Balthamal was the first one to make a solenoid valve homemade, which pretty much started the homemade gun boom. He planned to sell his models, and didn't give away the plans for free, but it didn't take long before someone figured out how to use solenoid valves themselves and showed the rest of the community. His first guns were called Phoenix(NOT a typo) and Phoenix2, as I recall. His pics and such were hosted on Dr Genius's site, Nerf Mayhem, I believe.
Andy has a lot of the old NC threads saved, because he's pulled a few out before, but good luck getting ahold of him.

So you were a member of a site that I practically ran during it's prime. Suck my balls.Yes, I know. I have heard your opinion on most of that stuff before. Also, you were pretty inactive most of the time I was active in the NIC.
