You have to understand the history of the forum.

There's a reason this site is called NerfHaven.

The people who created this forum are not interested in silly games, emotes, discussions about your favorite band, soda, or TV show. This forum is the result of three admins on NO being told that they couldn't delete assholes because it was bad for traffic. We don't care about traffic. We don't care about membership.

By all of my measures for success, this forum is everything I hoped it would be.

And, yes, my day is that busy.

Historical nerf forum admins seemed to only care about increasing the number of members, the number of posts per day, the number of pageviews per month.

I'm not saying I don't care about having users, just that it's not my overall goal to increase that number. The idea here is to promote an environment where people can have reasonable discussions about nerf without having to tolerate idiots and assholes.

I think he's trying to say that its already as good as its gonna get and hes happy the way it is so why should he care about membership or kicking assholes off the forum. But I would like to thank you for not silencing me because I sure was an asshole (more of an annoyance but anyway) my first couple weeks

CheeseNerfer: Don't worry about it. My main posts were in the planned American movies, where i posted in AIM speak; submitted the entire script for an intro scene in one post, with the entire post in upper case ...

We all screw up, and i wasn't really familiar with the NH doctrine. It wasn't surprising that i quickly received a pm from Rawray saying that i better clean up because "your coming across as a real asshole" ... No surprises there. It's just that we have some actual, defined rules now. It would just be grand if all the new and old members could harness them.
