You get four mini Airtech tanks for your money. Intriguing. Definitely the biggest trigger mechanism I've ever seen, at any rate.

I need a tank comparison. They look small, but they also have some depth to them.

Do you think the tanks are separable from one another?

I was hoping for a firing mechanism more similar to the Blastfire, but by the looks of it the tanks all fire at once. Oh well...

Far from it. You can see the extra "beads" on some of the firing pins, where the trigger will catch. They're spaced out enough that you should be able to fire them one at a time (given a steady finger).

Reminds me of the splitfire. (The pin length that is).

EDIT: I think this might be buzz bee's first air gun to actually fire darts.

Just to check my understanding of the firing mechanism concept... after being pumped up, the trigger pull fires off each barrel in sequence as the trigger travels backwards? Making it a sort of "semi-auto" blaster? From the internal photo, looks like it fires from the top barrel to bottom barrel in sequence.

k9turret, kindly clarify if that's how it works? Thx!

They look to me like Hornet style tanks with BBBB trigger valves.

whats interesting to me is how the bottom 2 barrels are noticeably longer than the top two. Not that dart fit is great with stock darts, but i wonder if it affects the performance.

Also, no vinyl tubing; its all plastic walls like a SSPB, which is sad. Not like it'd be hard to add, but certainly another step before the tanks can be used in an integration.

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

Dude13 says that they are very slightly smaller than 2k tanks. Think SM750.

sGNERF is right, the trigger action is like a Big salvo or SMDTB, thus explaining my first guess that the gun was back pressure. But at youth yesterday, we bought like 4 of these, Stock ranges ~15ft

More pic will be up later tonight

That's really cool. Looks like this blaster will be very easy to modify. And a pump replacement looks easy as well.

Remember, if the puny tanks aren't enough for you, you can always drill holes in the tanks, and attach tank extentions.

That thing looks like it had a crap load of glue to the shell before opening. Are there any problems with opening the blaster?

Doing this as I speak. I have no idea when I got it...my DAD got it some 15 years ago, but that doesn't matter. Anyways, it keeps jerking around all over the place. I try to hold it with a rag...It doesn't look like...much.

the section that surrounds the barrels are solvent welded together. But those would be cut off for barrel replacement.

And the usual ring on the pump needs to be broken. Hence the busted pump tube in the photo

That pump has got to go. Add some new barrels, and then you're all set. I'm probably going to be getting this blaster as soon as i can find it.
