Recap from an Old Guy's Perspective

• Beautiful drive up - nice location pick, Rork.
• Enthusiastic Newbies - and they weren't as easy to take down as one might have initially thought. Hope you guys can make it to future wars.
• My son and Poptart running the gauntlet; funny as hell to watch but couldn't believe we didn't hit one of them. Like freakin' rabbits...
• Rork's generosity with his weapons. Thanks, dude.
• The ingenuity of some of the homemades.
• Mano y mano with soccerbeast in the first FFA - and the better mano won.
• Watching Ben squirm because he didn't pick Leslie fast enough to be on his team.
• Barrel taping three opponents; for an old guy like me, that's saying a lot.
• Watching my son grow into a serious Nerfer in the last year. Accurate, fearless, excellent sportsmanship - couldn't be prouder. In another year or so, he'll be scary dangerous. Just remember who's giving you the ride home...
• My 15-hour well-soaked Publix Ultimate sub sandwich. mmmm....sandwiches...

Cons
• Mother Nature's a bitch.
• Busting up my favorite weapon in the second round. Yes, it was my fault, not my weapons-maker. But I will be better prepared at the next war

Imageshack is being weird, so the few photos we have won't show up.

Try photobucket. It works for me.

Fucking thunderstorms...

But seriously, I had a blast. If we'd been able to nerf like that all day, it might have been the most Effeminate Southern war to date. And thanks for the photographic goodness, guys.

-Nick's beardliness
-Great players. Lots of newbies there, but the vets were incredibly gracious, without being lame. Sportsmanship is the most important thing to me, and it was there in spades.
-Facing off against Ben, who is one of my best frienemies on the field.
-LOTS of sweet kills. SNAPs>everything else :D
-Double kills
-Triple kills
-Running kills. Lots and lots of them.
-Some people play like bees. I play like a tank.
-I was able to rent a lot of darts and loan a lot of weapons.
-Team Powerball WILL happen soon.
-Umpa's 1500s, and Soccerbeast's 3Ks. That green/black one is one of my favorite guns of all time, dude.
-Soccerbeast and friend. I wish we had 20 more new players like 'em down here.
-Winning one of the sweetest games of deathmatch I've ever played.
-"Take the tap, dude! Just take the tap!"
-ChickenCo. showed up, ready to roll. 2 of the most helpful, friendly nerfers I've ever had the pleasure of playing alongside.
-FlyingChicken's sweet ninja moves. You have skill, my friend.
-Ben and Leslie's team-picking tension.
-Leslie got out there and got AFTER it, after helping us make nearly 1,500 darts in 2 days. Classy lady.
-Pheylan rocked the SNAPbow. Him Vs. Soccerbeast and Josh was a great example of Nerf-as-Spectator Sport.
-5 hoppered SNAPbows on the field at the same time.
-Having waaaay too many highlights for a war that got rain/hail/lightninged out.

Almost forgot to say... I found someone's NF in my bag. It's minimized, extended plunger draw, and yellow tape around the coupler.
