I just checked the weather for the 3rd.

It's supposed to be sunny with a high of 71 degrees! A beautiful day for shooting some foam.

I have one guest confirmed, one is a maybe. I'll probably bring most/all my blasters to the park... I just hope we won't have any problems staying away from bystanders. Then again I have never been to this park so I'm trusting dizzy's judgment.

I can't wait to roll with T Dog and Phree Agent again. Last time was great.

This is really shaping up to be a nice turn out! I will most likely have one or two guests and some stuff to trade or sell

I had thought I would be back in College Park on Friday night, but that will not happen. Consequently I can't attend the war. I hope those who can have a great time. We should schedule something similar in the near future.

I have been informed that reserving a picnic table on Saturdays costs $150.

Why? I do not know.

At least check there were three picnic shelters open (i.e. not reserved). I'll check again on Friday to confirm. It's not a big deal, and it says that the place shouldn't be completely packed with birthday parties and whatnot, but I'm not very optimistic about being able to use the playground until sometime really late.

Tenative meet location is at picnic shelter C. If we get booted by park police, we'll find someplace else to congregate.

Well, with communication with my club being random at best, I'm seeing me +2 or less. Could be just me. I'll have loaners for that many, and darts for maybe that many. I will see people there and I can't wait!

Would anyone happen to have PETG? If you did, I would buy, I need some.

Really nice, if only there weren't so many people around. Meh, nothing we could've done. We still made the most of it and had tons of fun and I got to hang out with Dizzy some more. I hope to see ya'all at DCNO or something.

So yeah, my guest also had a ton of fun, hopefully he'll join us next time also!

Super day of mega fun-ness. I'll upload pictures later and edit them in here!

Pros: Excellent weather, location was good minus the pedestrians, met some new people, no guns broken, found most of my darts.

Cons: No one has planned DCNO yet.

Effeminate: Throwing Easter eggs for a round instead of having a blaster.

Well, I busted the glue on my SNAP, my EaB, AND my dollar store special, not to mention not bringing my darts.



I had a blast. I also came home with not only that TTG from Dizzy, but a funky buzzsaw and a mav from the huge thrift nearby. War pics in a sec.

(P.S. The buzzsaw has a spring-loaded switch thing on the top. It seems to make balls fall out of the front... My old one doesn't. )

I spent the last two rounds chasing people around with my Rebel Blaster in one hand and the Atom Blaster in the other.

I regret nothing.

This war was a blast! I had a great time hanging out with all of the greater washington metro area nerfers and look forward to seeing you all again at the next war around here.

Highlights of the day:

The weather.
Shooting people in the back like 50 times. (cowardice for the win!)
Starting a round and then realizing after rushing someone that I had forgotten to load my nitemav... awkward.
Starting the day with ~70 darts and returning with over 50 of them.
Phree Agent's easter egg round. Completely mindblowing.
Seeing some of Dizzy's paint jobs first hand.
Getting to hang out with a bunch of cool guys who were awesome all day.

My favorite round by far was the last. I was using double nitemavs and ended up shooting 7+ darts at Phree Agent while trying to run him down. I ended that round with literally 3 darts left.

Naes Draw, those pictures look sweet. I can't wait for the rest of you guys who took pictures to put them up.

Not that I'm complaining, but the only pictures of me are, my back turned, reloading, or a blur... The blur is still kinda cool looking. Arm cannon ftw!
