I'm still in Richmond, so I have no idea. If anyone living closer to Wheaton could swing by and let me know if the fields are playable (i.e. not covered in 8 inches of snow, ice, and mud) that would be appreciated.

Alright here's where I am with this war.

I haven't seen the field. Right now MC Parks isn't responding to my calls, and won't take reservations for the picnic tables until April. We are still free to use the park, but I haven't had any chance to see what the park looks like.

So here's the deal. If I haven't heard anything from MC Parks by Wednesday I'll have to postpone the war. It wouldn't be fair for people driving 2+ hours to get to Wheaton only to find a soggy mudhole. I know some people like nerfing in that kind of stuff but I personally would rather have the war on a relatively dry field.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My group of four wouldn't mind sub par conditions, but if it was absolutely awful I can understand a cancellation.

Could someone who lives in Montgomery County swing by the park to check it out for me? I know I'm not exactly doing due dilligence as a host, but I am literally swamped with schoolwork and taking a trip up to DC is pretty much out of the question.

This makes me so sad, but I can't say I didn't see it coming. It's supposed to rain on friday and saturday, and after all of the snow melt I'm sure the field will be a mud pit. Darn you nature! Grrr...

With the snow we had, and this rain right now, the table's gonna be high. I'm fairly sure that I, (in Howard) will flood at least some. Pity, it looks like my club might have to wait too.

March 20th is March Meltdown (PA/NJ), the 27th is Gears' war.

April 3rd is a possibility, as is the 10th and 17th. Any later, and I'll be butting up against finals prep time.

Then I'd have to rename the war AMM.

I can't make it on the 10th. The 3rd is okay but I'm more available on the 17th

I am pretty sure any of those would work for me, but I can't be positive how many guests I will have with me for those dates.

The 3rd is best for me. I will be running 5Ks on the 11th and 17th and due to a lack of time I'd prefer to have only one event per weekend. If the 10th or 17th are chosen then I'll not run a 5K the chosen weekend.

So I'll tenatively set the make-up date for April 3rd.

About a hour or two drive from my house, I still have a bunch of darts made so I'm pretty much ready already... I'll try to talk some people into coming with me. So I guess put me down as a definite.

*Edit* I too will bring stuff that you may get me to part with for enough cash.
