Something about an awning....
Ugly stick....
Stefan's ugly face hit by the same ugly stick that hit the awning...
I lost it.
ANYWHO!
Stefan, I will try to organize another war sometime (depending if this one isn't a total failure) and I would love to plan it so you could come. That would be so cool. People would be jealous. I would be like, "YOU LIKE THAT?!? HAHAHA" and they would be like then and I would be like "HAHAHA"
yeah........
ANYWHO!
I would be happy to pay to take some of that crap off your hands, Stefan. Including those dart mods..... eh? eh?... nah?...
ANYWHO!
I ate too many of those sugar Pixie Stix.
Ya.....

Anybody else interested? If there's sufficient interest I could just as well go and make a few new ones for people (there's really not much here...).

NOTE TO ALL ATTENDING VANS: Meet at the top of the park where there are a few parking spaces and a big plaque, memorial, info thing. Also, if it is pouring rain in North Van, VANS is cancelled. I will probably call you, Nello, that morning, just to double check everything. I also am bringing 6 big industrial crate boxes for cover, making a fort for a game of Raid... whatever. Tell your friends!
PS. I don't know if I should write NERF HQ or NERF HAVEN on the side of the boxes (there will be alot of pictures... subliminal advertising, you know.) Nerf HQ is having a contest for promoting it, but Nerf Haven is offering to host our war pictures. I think I will do Nerf Haven. Protest this if you must.
PPS. I NEED REPLIES, PEOPLE! Not much time left to confirm!
PPSS. I will make some sort of hand-out sheet with my contact information and get a list of the attendees while there so we can organize another war, with Stefan, maybe, at a latter date.

The Crossbow may not be able to make it... Having some issues with the spring return on the barrel...
Speaking of which, what kind of arsenal does everyone plan on bringing? I'm sure I could look up many past topics and piece it all together, but a compilation here would be better, more recent.
I'll be bringing:
Blastfire (still in the 5-barrel CPVC ugliness)
Lock 'n Load (m4d uglified, just single-shot)
Secret Shot 2 (cheep, may have to upgrade it before the war)
Really small load-out, but many of my guns have fallen into disrepair. No autos, and I'm understandably disappointed. Will most likely be using all 4cm Micro stefans. No Nunchukas, I doubt I'll need them.
Also, what's the full headcount now?

Confirmed:
Jappo
Nello and a few friends... how many?
Zero
Me... 1 friend
Lord Dis
Unconfirmed (God damnit, I have been PMing and emailing and they ignore me!):
Raiden
Waspy
Gaebo
Richard Vinning
Fire_brian Burke
I will be bringing all my guns, as should you, but I plan on using my 1/2" 4 barrel CPVC SM1500 New, my AirTech2000 single 1/2" CPVC barrel... a 5 foot long blowgun (hehehe)... what else is good.... oh! My not-half-bad-but-looks-so-beautiful EaB. I shoot mostly stock micros, since for the love of God I can't find 1/2" FBR... maybe you could lend me some ammo, guys? Anyways, my EaB shoots "loser" ammo (stock darts that have been wieghted) out of 1/2" copper. Bring it on, fools!
PS. 2 more days! Remember, bring all of your guns, eyewear, appropriate clothing, money (if you are interesting in buying, trading, or buying lunch) and a bag lunch. Probably some sunscreen if the weather stays so beautiful. Remember, it is cancelled if it is POURING (sp, lol) rain. Sprinkling, come, and hope it goes away. Pouring, stay home and stroke your nerf guns lovingly. Remember, 10:30 - 3! Carisbrooke Park in North Vancouver.
Map Quest, not the red star, Carisbrooke Park to the right of it.http://www.mapquest....rchtype=address

What kind of weightings are we talking about? Just for safety concerns... All my darts are quite light, using one BB, and a bit of hotglue, to avoid breaking through sunglasses, as all my previous darts have done... Not so cool for one's eyes.
I should also warn everyone that all my guns will be shooting rather low ranges... Disrepair and such, after all. No threat to you, of course.
Also, I was selling a whole wad of guns beforehand, but not many people took interest, and Gaebo claimed the best of the lot, only to leave me on hold. Which means a whole wad of guns with no shipping costs available. So, does anyone want:
Big Bad Bow (Crayola/PVC mod, no bow parts, cut in top for old shell mod, rerelease, good condition. $4.)
Big Bad Bow (...Really crappy. Good spring, fires pretty well, but everything else is pretty fugly. $2 if you want the spring.)
Manta Ray (Refurbished; sort of attacked with 3/8" dowel.. Good for a casing and springs, though. $1, if only because of the springs.)
Lock 'N Load (Refurbished; Dowel/rubber plunger, bungees, crayola/PVC mod, fires pretty well. $4. Was going to Warlock, but he hasn't contacted me about it for a while now.)
Razorbeast (As good as a razorbeast usually gets... Small bolt repair. Free.)
Rachetblast (One-barreled [1/2" PVC, not my mod work], shoots fairly well. $1.)
Eagle Eye (PVC barreled, no electronics, fires as well as an Eagle Eye usually does. Free.)
Super Soaker 100 (Yeah... like new. Pretty boring. Free.)
Super Soaker 50 (Stole the original piping, replaced with 1/2" PVC for aesthetics. Free.)
Secret Shot 1 (Tri-barrel mod, works pretty nicely, no banding. $4.)
Supermaxx 750 (As good as any 750... Missing a few screws, so a bit of fugly tape. $4.)
Vortex Tornado (Hand cannon mod, three rings. $3)
Super Soaker XXP175 (one-barrel modded, for water or air... Huge volume means better for water, unless you really enjoy pumping. Free.)
Defender T3: Top piece (could be worked into a large spring-shot on par with a Crossbow or BBB. $3)
Defender T3: Pistol (1/2" PVC mod, extended air chamber, custom (heavy) spring. Doesn't work as well as you'd expect, but looks pretty. $4)
Rototrack (No real mods... May have switched the spring. Had to replace foam pad for forearm mount. $3)
14-shell chain (4 black/Rototrack, 2 x 5 silver/Razorbeast)
Vortex Tornado Shell (Exactly what it sounds like. Free.)
Mad Hornet Shell (...Don't ask me, it's still sitting there for some reason. Take it off my hands if you want it.)
Crappy-ass Lightning Storm gun (clip with pump action, crappy as implied. Free.)
Rocketstorm (Hehehe... Battered and sad. Needs a good home that is not a garbage can. Free.)
Switch Shots Max (Experimentally made semi-auto back in the day. The crappy kind of semi-auto that depends on large air volume, with steadily weakening shot and liability to completely depressurize if trigger is held down. Crayola-modded 4-barreled, auto-indexing. Take it if you want it.)
Wad of dart packs... Take 'em if you want.
Sorry to have turned this post into sort of a Trading thing... If you want any of this stuff, it'll be in my Van. If you want to trade, I'll work something out for an automatic, an Air Tech gun, or a Maxshot... Maybe even a sandwich.

Please bring everything on that list.
I am interested in (I CALL DIBS!):
Crossbow (Oooo)
Lock N Load (Oooo)
Secret Shot (I ruined mine yesterday... I call it fugly now.)
Vortex Tornado (Let me see it, not familiar with mod. Any rings??)
Vortex Tornado Shell (stick something in it...)
Pretty much anything else I can lay my hands on, especially cheap. Maybe one of those track-type guns. I love to have alot of guns for tinkering.
I could REALLY use darts. Bring them, and at the end of the war you can sell what we haven't lost. You have alot of things for free/low prices, I am VERY willing to pay more than that. I really insist on it. Feel like I'm stealing... Getting a LnL for $4 while on eBay right now a LnL is $51 Canadian! Maybe I shouldn't say that...
Bet ya'll are jealous that I live in Vancouver, eh? EH? That's what I thought.
PS. My mom (yes, it sounds wussy, oh well...) made some REALLy good brownies and cake for VANS. Mmmm. I will also bring alot of snacks, sandwiches, drinks, whatever, but don't rely on only my stuff.
PPS. Zero, you are cool.
PPSS. I am very willing to trade I have...
(This is a list of the guns I have. Doesn't mean I really need to trade them, just letting you know)
2 (1 old 1 new) SM1500 4 1/2" PVC barrel
AT2000 1 1/2" PVC barrel
EaB 1/2" copper barrel
Secret Shot (insides are a bit messed up)
SharpShooterII single PVC barrel
2 Blastfire DX 500
NB-1
Cyber Strike arm thing
Lazer Fang
AT3000

Hehe... "Oh yeah, I left my pump-action clip system in my other pants." The mod had too many glitches for actual use, so I'm demoding the Crossbow to base parameters, if only for the nostalgia. And sorry Hunter, but there's no way you're taking the Crossbow from me... It's my baby, and is loaded with memories. Besides, it's very scarred, you probably wouldn't want it.
Which means I'll actually be using 1/4" steel ball weighted mega stefans in conjunction with 4cm BB Zero darts. Again, shouldn't pose any threats to eyeglasses, shouldn't even cause welts.
Meanwhile, I'll take the SS1 off your hands.. Always up for a modding challenge.

But you probably won't read this in time. See you guys tomorrow morning.

Vancouver Annual Nerf Skirmish was VERY successful. We had a 10 man war for what I believe is the first ever major Vancouver war. I took a bunch of pictures, and I will try to upload them soon. Stefan, next time you gotta come. Thanks to Zero Talent for the freebies! Great war, guys, we gotta do that again.

Stefan, you dirty, dirty man. No, really, not in any sort of content except that my van was the one where everyone sat in and put thier stuff and food. I am being serious. There is a pair of sweatpants. Who's? Answer soon or I cut them up and try to stuff them down the barrel of a scuba tank homemade and shoot them through cardboard boxes (the battery, hehehe).Does anyone really need to say anything, or can we all just figure that this blasphemy of poorly chosen words requires no further comment?PS. Excellent war, we must do something in the summer. Perhaps with a few more darts and better preparation, as well. Maybe I'll be able to hit a stationary target next time...
Who got the T3 top half? I'd like to see what they do with it... The casing fits 1.5" PVC perfectly, so you could easily work in a homemade.
Forgot to nab some PTEG. Next time... Also, if anybody needs and can't find 1/2" Foam Backer Rod, just PM me, I'll get it to you next war or earlier.
Looking forward to the pics.
