Last note about Killing Floor for anyone who is interested, which you should be. It's a Left 4 Dead Style zombie survival game, except no jokes, extreme realism, and a lot more cooler features rather than many different types of zombies.

It currently costs 19.99 on the steam marketplace, and they have extra character packs you can buy for $2 a piece (which I recommend because the nightfall extra characters are soooo badass)

Since it is a steam game, and steam leaves all of their games "open" as in, people are allowed to mod the levels, stats, gameplay however they want as long as they're playing on the steam servers.

Some fun features to mention:
Welding doors shut to detour zombies and strategical attacks
Perks (CoD style more or less)
Slow motion (you have to pull off a lot of headshot kills in a row and it'll go into slow motion)

In all seriousness people, hold off on buying your next longshot you plan to butcher, and get this game.

It might just require I taste. I mean, if you cant listen to metal and are creeped out by a bit more serious zombies. Or if just the fact that you would rather play a campaign over survival..

But Killing floor has some options on it. A lot more weapons, the perks are nice to have, and quite honestly why I like it more, its a bit more tactical. Sure on easy you can flush out the zombies like bugs off a windshield. Later on you have to think more, weld doors, have hiding places and really put in team work, or it'll be like trying to get a bear off your windshield.

Any one interested in playing Global Agenda? It's worth every penny if you were wondering. Especially if you like Unreal tournament 3

Global Agenda look's like TF2, and Mass Effect put into one, I would get it if I had the money.

There always seems to be a depressing majority of social/political conservatism whenever the topic comes up on a Nerf board.

Thats what happens when the main topics of the message boards are guns and war.

Only things that I didn't like were the start menu and the level up system. Sick game, though.

There's some big action going on with the latest Portal update, most likely they're announcing either Episode 3 or Portal 2, but as far as I know nobody's gotten past some weird Acsii pictures.

Kotaku Thing

That's the link a friend sent me, it has links to the Steam forums that are working on it, although other places might be further along. As far as I can tell you need a landline and a modem to actually join in, which is awesome.

It's some interesting stuff. My personal theory is that it's a message intercepted from a Black Mesa spy trying to steal science info from Aperture. Although I heard somebody found a sound file with some HL2 characters in it (but not clear enough to hear what they're saying) so unless the Portal gun can shoot through time as well I'm probably wrong. My other favorite theory I read is that D0G is actually GLaDOS.

Regardless, we should be hearing some news about sequels soon!

Overclocking is underrated! My friend "says" he gets 3.9 gHz out of a 2.6 gHz i7 processor...and with the heatsink he has, he said it doesn't deteriorate after long use. Fucking Effeminate win.

Using the stock fan on full, plus a well ventilated case, I ramp my 2.33Ghz Intel Quad Core up to 3.0 easy.
Oh, and my memory has wrong settings, so in order to get what I paid for, I have to OC it.

There was a person who had the SAME exact computer as me but I had 1 less byte of memory. At least that's what task manager said while we both had TF2 running...

I'm going to be building a comp soon so maybe I'll ask you a couple questions about overclocking later on

Building computers is alot of fun. I really enjoy it. Make sure to have good cable management. Thats key.

I'M NOT DEAD!
Lol, I haven't done anything nerf related in about a year or so. The double barrel may throw me back in and I may invest in a hand cannon..
ANYWAYS!
Lol, you guys overclocking, mine runs at 3.7 quad core not overclocked. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL I've even got some special thermal paste that keeps it cool.

You guys play any Eternal Silence or Dystopia? Some of the half life mods are pretty boss
