Is there an ACE spring that is similar or the same as a Handyman #9713 spring?

There have been many discussions about this, they're worth a read if you're looking for new springs.

Carbon - Really? I use 1.5 #49s in my BBB and it gets great ranges but is sort of hard to prime. I didn't know that the #49 was the right one. Interesting...
I'm not really looking ofr new springs. Just a replacement for a NF tht I'm resurrecting.

Wow how did "prong" get into that sentence. If you can't get an ace 49 you can then use a handyman.JATDO - it it for a NF. Not sure what you mean about he first part though...

Whisper- Have you tried using ACE Hardware #69 (I think) springs yet? those are beasts to compress. I have one in my 3B currently, and gave another one to Toxic. Don't know if hes done anything with it yet. It was originally for my LS, but it was too big for the plunger tube.

The #69 (lol) spring, how long is it? Did you just put in in your bbb? Or did you have to cut/join it with other springs?I use Ace hardware #49 springs in my NFs, and boy do they pack a punch. just make sure you reinforce it otherwise the longevity of your blaster will suffer.

Whisper just do the normals, if you've had more then one nf and took off the battery cap, there should be a little square washer that was in the cap, that can fit on the plunger tube screw ports (I think that's what you call them). I know it sounds confusing, I think there is a write up but he replaced the screw thing with the washer.

Hey guys, I am looking for stronger springs for my Raider and Recon. Any suggestions? Thank You.
There isn't one. Follow this mod and use stock NF springs. THey work the best.
FA_24's response to Ice's back pain thread:
I used to have that problem until I got circumcised. 15 pounds later I was able to stand up straight.

You could replace the spring with one from rfsg.
