Well, I had thought I had seen a Red Recon before, but before I stuck my foot in my mouth, I did a bit of searching. After going through a couple dozen pages on Google images, I couldn't find the Red Recon. I then did the same with the Red Vulcan and came up with nothing. I doubt the photos are doctored; there's to many of them for him to have tried that. So, I figure the guy got lucky and a store near him accidentally stocked this "Red Series" Vulcan early. I'm guessing we'll probably start seeing similar ones in other stores within the next month or so. Just my guess though.

The red recon is not a hoax. They have only been seen in Canada so far. There is a picture on FU if you still don't believe it. They are at all wal-marts and TRUs around me. At least near me, they are 5$ more than regular recons, so that is probably why no one buys them.

So then since they already have yellow, red and blue N-strike blasters, does this mean they'll make a green one later in the future? It would make sense if they're making the red ones now.

If you are going to troll, do it somewhere more efficient. Seriously, it takes months to get validated and we have incredibly harsh penalties. And link to something more offensive than dancing hamsters.

I think it would be great if some of the N-Strike blasters were available in other colors. But I am baffled by it as a business move. It doesn't really make all that much sense from a financial standpoint. Unless they realized that the red was the best selling color of other blasters which were available in multiples. I'm thinking of blasters like the AT2K and the Titan, where the vast majority sold have been red.

cnsidering they have rereleased just about every current blaster in new color id say this is a pretty common thing.

The really sad part is that there is probably some ass-bag at Nerf getting paid to make the decicison to change the color. For example: "hey boss, I think we'll sell more Longshots if we change the color to urine yellow." or "hey we'll sell more Recons in Canada if we paint them Maple Leaf Red!" and so on...very sad.

just to tell you, he didn't spell it incorrectly, trust me, english is a stupid language. for example, the color grey can also be spelled gray...

just to add something that might have something relevent to this topic, i would be pretty interesting if you had more teams with the new colors/colours...

of course, i'd always be carrying the jet black longshot

i just hope they dont do anything with the internals to compensate with the new colors
