I am really pissed I missed this war. You have no idea how upset I will be if AP schedules another mandatory community service day any time soon.

Your problem is that you didn't suggest for everybody to spend their community service time doing dart sweeps for us between rounds. With the leaves we lost just about all of them.

I had a pretty dang good time, it's always fun to have lots of people to play with. The cold actually helped my dart fit out a lot, which was pretty cool. That bloody diarrhea picture is probably the best/most hilarious one. My favorite part of the war though was when that random girl showed up in the middle of a capture the flag round and thought we were the funniest people ever.

I was a little disappointed that more people weren't in costume though, maybe next year.

Yeah, me too, actually. I half-wore mine. Although I couldn't see any darts flying at me through my mask. That was a fun round though. We should've played a game, like: "Shoot the goblin" where you all get the highest powered guns you have, and make some sort of nerf gauntlet that the person wearing the mask has to run through, maybe to deliver the flag to a certain area. Or you could all just use +bows and hunt me down. Either way, shooting people with masks on is fun! :)

Veet, were you rockin’ the melee? Hella!

Mess, any man who shits blood and leaves witnesses is solid in my book.

The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

That was my plan, but the points on that thing are actually capable of doing some damage, so I decided not to risk stabbing people with any overzealous swings.

Funny you should use 'solid' and 'shits blood' in the same paragraph. :D

So tired... can be partially attributed to the other Halloween event I went to after this yesterday.
Fun, but not Effeminate fun like SPANO. Good noob intro war.
The next person who says it was cold will be kicked by me. That's a promise. It was 40s, almost 50s, the wind was warm and the sun was shining. There's no such thing as cold, just unprepared. It's all your fault, not nature. Your the one with the brain.
I need to go sleep and will say more tomorrow, and post pics.

Good noob intro war.

You lookin' at me? Naw, it probably was. ;)

It sucks, because I totally underestimated the size of the darts we were using. I come home, and I find out i have a bunch of CPVC that fits in the coupler I have for my BBB (thanks Drac!), so I could've fashioned a speedloader outta that. D'oh! :D

Another highlight... thing...
  • Moses' staff of nerf! (Remeber, taters?)
That seems like something that should go down in nerf lore forever. Even though it was only between two people...

It was 39º when I left in the morning and 39º when I got back, the same temperature the mid-winter war we had in January was. Sure, the windchill wasn't as bad and we weren't falling into snowbanks, but it was definitely cold enough for my asthma to kick in a bit.

Wow, really? I'm not sure if I can, I might just skip out on this one is less than 4-6 people go. We'll see.

Highlights:
+Garett finally came back.
+Frank came back too, I guess haha.
+Not as many problems with uber-blasters, but it's difficult when half the people are using lightly modded Longshots.
+Tea-Bagging Beaver.
+The Gangsta video of Scott is win.
+"This is the ghetto Wendys, no refills" "YEAH THIS IS THE WENDYS, IN THE GHETTO!" "Stop talking so loud, have some fucking common sense."
+"I'm an illegitimate child."
+That one guy who was using the stock Berzerker was doing incredibly well, considering he was using a stock berzerker.
+Meeting members of the LCB, and they were pretty cool overall.
+All of the LCB people were like "OMGWTFBBQ" when they saw our heavily modified diddle-Blasters. And they kept calling them "Custom" which I thought was funny too.
+Getting more shit about living in the whiteburbs.
+Wasn't very cold.
+Kip doing pretty well for his first war. Welcome aboard.
+NF/Splat holster=Awesome.
+Getting a bunch of clear tubes.
+Kip naming Beaver "Beavis".
+Using the dick gun (hopper clipped big blast) only to have the handle break right away.

-Scott couldn't hang out after.
-The awkward, but brief phone converstaion with Gage.
-My longshot getting stolen (on accident). I dont really need it particularily, so I'm patient about getting it back.
-Beaver sitting out because he was "out of darts" when we needed him the most. DISGRACE
-JULIAN WASN'T THERE. I missed you, bro.
-Tons of leaves ate up darts like snow. Shit happens.
-Getting shot right above the eye from like less than 10 feet from a +bow. It was a legit shot though, so no hard feelings now that the pain is gone.

Oh yeah, and we're totally doing the dart restriction at the next war. Either that or ban a lot of blasters, and I think most of us (if not all) would prefer to just weight our darts lighter.
