I agree with atomatron -- I'm going to decide on a location and date tomorrow evening. I'm leaning towards a Sunday war at the UoM campus. Speak your objections now, or forever hold your peace.

I can't do Saturday because I am playing for my Highschool's class of 1949. Its their 60th year reunion, but I make money doing it.

SUNDAY!!! I ARE IMPORTANT!!

I ended up getting out of my family vacation for other reasons, but it does mean that I can now make it to either day.

Awesome, I'm busting out the Auto Tommy 20 for this one.

Hmmm, I wonder if anybody could sell me some pre-cut lengths of brass to rebarrel some Eliminators with. I'm attempting the mod in the directory, so it looks like I'll need 4: 1 1/2" pieces of 17/32" brass. I figure it will be easier to pay somebody who's already working with brass then to buy more then I need and some pipe cutters just for this project. Send me a pm if you're interested in doing business.

Alright, I want answers from all these maybes. This should be pretty tight, I want to see how the outside of the building works out. I'd imagine shorter range weapons might make the outdoor war more interesting. I might be bringing some Mobstacles too.

Shush. If they show up, they show up.

I'd be up to a shorter-ranged weapon round (i.e., primaries that shoot under 70'). Against my better judgment, I'm going to try to angel-breech my longshot for Saturday. Even though it works fine right now.

I hate to say this, but any chance we could start this later? It's a smaller war, so I don't really see the point in starting this early. Plus, our wars usually end at like 3 when we start this early, and we could definatley go later if we started later. I'd say start it at 10 or 11.

Yes, I think a later start time would be good. 11am is now the start time.

I also stopped at that goodwill near where you live and picked up like 8 Crossbows, a dozen of those missile shooting SM 1500s and a manta...

Just one Manta? Pfff...

EDIT: BTW, I just bought that last Raider. So there will be two of them at the war.

Its ok, I had to leave some of them. I could only carry out the SuperMaxx 2ks and 5ks. I think a Super Tech 9k got mixed in aswell. I think I found... like 40 of them? I had to ask for help, and I figured that the Crossbows I could live without.

Yah beaver. Never find anything. That was the best one day haul we've ever had. The splitfire got PTEG and hits 60s, the EAB is waiting for devine inspiration. so I can keep the expanding barrel, but still have a sealed CPVC coupler and breech. Anyone know of a material lighter that 3/4 pvc that slides well on CPVC put is easer to find than a 2k pump? Add these two to Tators/Gages finds there including xbow, SM5k, lots of 2ks, ls's, etc, and our thrift store is simply a matter of luck.
On track: count us out for this one, we're too busy but will be there in spirit.
Oh, and 200 posts! Yah less noobishness!

I want that Expand-A-Blast...

Actually I did go to Julian's Goodwill, I got two TTGs (one old, one new) a Mav (1st gen), Firefly (1st gen) and a red crossfire, they are all modded now.

The goodwill I live near to goes through [literally] tons of stuff every day, the only way I could reliably get stuff there would be to spend many MANY hours there.

1/2" thinwall PVC should work, provided you wrap etape around the CPVC.

I want that Expand-A-Blast...

You can buy mine.
