MATERIALS

Blasters
• Sneak Shot
• Iron Man Rocket Launcher

Tools
• Screwdriver
• Dremel/Rotary tool with cutting apparatus’s for plastic and metal
• Drill and bit for drilling metal
• Superglue (optional)

Hardware
• 3 stock “longer” nerf screws (butt of a FF worked for me)
• four 1/2” or 3/8” #4 machine bolts
• nine #4 washers
• Plate/sheet of 1/8” aluminum or other metal

First I stripped the hell out of the inside of my old Sneak Shot that in no way functioned as it was originally intended.

Very very tedious and time consuming: GOGGLES, GOGGLES, GOGGLES, and a mouth cover while you’re at it.


These two cuts are crucial: we are going to place the entire pump inside the shell of the Sneak Shot.


We are going to attach our custom holder plate into the existing screw holes here with our stock “longer” nerf screws.


You will need to shave/file/remover this nubbin here


I found these right next to the brass pipes at the local True Value. $4 each and you have tons of leftovers for other projects.

Ok, I had a whole template for the measurements of the attachment plate drawn out but it was on a paper bag scrap and the figgerin’ is not terribly difficult. The point is, it attaches to the Ironman tank like so.


TIP: I built the attachment plate with all holes drilled first then pressed it against the fore grip and used the plate’s holes as a guide to drill holes into the blaster itself.

The bolts I put through the holes we just drilled like so. I cheated and super glued them in place so they would not keep moving around like bitches while putting the plate on.

Here is a profile of the full attachment.


Finished product with “team colors”: painted in Krylon Fusion satin white and black with metallic gold accents.


The plunger tube is simply laid in there: no glue, no hardware, proper machining of the internals alone should create a tight enough fit.


The blast button is a titch awkward to push but other than that no complaints.

A few things
• No, it does not have war worthy use…yet.
• Ranges: 45’ flat with the stock Shellhead, gotten up to 70’+ at an angel.
• The foam guy is several time heavier than a Titan missile
• Kicks like a donkey, and sounds like a paper bag being popped
• I did not have the patients to shorten the hose even if the ‘how to’ was in my original write up.

3rd coast, prepare for uber-ridiculous rounds! 15 points for an Ironman in The Core!

You should make it shoot Mongo darts, the large-ass ass-kickin darts that Forsaken Angel used in one of his Titans.

It would be nice if your second integration could be with your pump facing your barrel, so you pump it up like an Airtech-style gun. Cutting off one of those grips on the handle could make it work.

When I saw the sleeveless shirt in the video, I thought for a moment that you were Ice.

Nice job on the mod, though. Love the "stock darts". Does it fire, say, titan rockets, though? Or is the diameter of the barrel wrong?
