Here we go. This time around we have TWO, count em, TWO wars going on. The same rules apply to both of them. Here we go with the night war first

Date: July 24th
Time: 3-9
Location: West River Parkway Park
Address: 499 West James L. Rice River Pkwy N
Minneapolis, MN 55401

Food: There is a pizza place nearby. Plenty of other places too. We will take a dinner break around 6ish.

Here is the main attraction, the major Ex-SOF war.

Date: July 25th
Time: 9-4 or 5
Location: Langford park/SAP elementary
Address: W Langford Park, St Paul, MN 55108. Pictures. Meet by the Bandstand.

Food: There is a McDonalds about a mile away. There is an Arby's about 1.5 miles away. There are a bunch of other Restaurants within a few miles of the park. So, I suggest, if your going to have a car, plan out which place you want to to go to, and expect to have to drive people there.

Rules are standard:
-No plugged Big Blasts, Blast Bazookas, Signal Launchers or Titans
-No singled Rotorockets
-We may ask you to stop using any other guns that we deem to be unsafe.
-No realistic looking guns, especially when we play at the school.


I may change the locations, but I think these are pretty good for now. I'm open to any suggestions.

I am down for sure for the 25th and hopefully also for the 24th. I will talk with hilt today, I am pretty sure he is making it to these also and we will see if we can get a bunch of the rest of our gang to come along.

It pains me to say it, but I'm out for this weekend.

Put me as a maybe for now, I intend to go but have to get everything cleared first.

Also- just a few blocks from the second location there is a coffee shop/bakery and a grocery store (it's my neighborhood area).

I suggest that for the Saturday war we meet up at the bandstand.

Broadway Pizza is a couple blocks north of the West River Parkway Park. It stands out, and would be a good place to meet up before the war. Otherwise, the park itself has a small parking lot.

I am in for both days. Does anyone know if there is going to be a Twins game on the 24th because that might make traffic heavier?

Put us as "Highly Potential Maybes" for both, we have relatives coming into town sometime that week, but I'm sure that will only clog the 24th. Need to pin down parental approval.

Is there a reason the 24th war only goes 'till 9? Curfew lets us there 'til ten, and I was under the impression it was a night war.

If possible I'd like to swap rides with someone; IE I drive to this war and they do the weekend before, or vice versa. Or, I drive Friday and they drive Saturday. PM or post here.

I think we're 100% for the 24th, and need to work on details for the 25th. Final details will be confirmed soon.
A few of us should meet at 4:00 at Broadway pizza before the war, it's a little pricey but well worth it.

Yeah, why don't we stay till 10? I think the curfew is 11 in the summer anyways.

Hmm. This might be the first war I'm actually able to make it to, considering the second one is two blocks from my house.
