Let me be the first to say that I think Georgia has a strong future in NERFing. The age of the little NERF warriors was younger than I expected, but I had a lot of fun anyway. Only thing I can complain about was the minor sun-burn because the sub-screen wouldn't stick with all that sweat. Those portables sure were a lot of fun.

Some highlights were:
Meeting Rork and seeing the ZaxBlast. It's a pretty sweet blaster.
Seeing a doomsayer for the first time...I'm almost convinced I should make one.
Plenty of water and food (thanks to whoever's mom that was).

Hope to NERF with you guys again some time!

Great war guys, special thanks to all of you who traveled, it wouldn't have worked without you.

SENO 2009

















Highlights:
- Meeting Dave (Imaseoulman, your name was Dave, right?) and his crazy Navy crew
- NERFing with Rork again
- Seeing a new NERFer
- Primary Gunslinger round in the portables
- Drinking a gallon of water after every round
- Going on the Mc'Donalds run with nuclear engineers ;D
- Nerfing all day regardless of the 105 degree heat.

That was truly one of the best wars I have ever attended.

Highlights:
+ Portable rounds all day
+ Countering Rork's ambush
+ Seeing some new faces
+ Trading off a breech

Lowlights:
+ Trashing imaseolman's hand on two separate occasions(still sorry about that)
+ BBBB busted a leak in the last couple rounds

Pros:
- Doomsayer worked great and convinced Davis/Imaseoulman to make one
- Traded a stock 2k for a brass breech
- Meeting the Lolipop Guild, Rork, Rork's girlfriend's brother and Imaseoulman and his friends
- Rork and the Zaxblast. That thing was a beast.
- Being able to use a Splitfire for one round. And then got owned.
- Oddly, I think my darts shrunk and made rear-loading way easier.

Cons:
- Shooting Aside in the face from about 25 feet away during one round while he was counting
- LnL kept on falling out of my holster so I decided not to use any pistols during the war
- Getting shot from 5 feet away with Imaseoulman's Green 2k. That did not feel good.
- Not really my con, but Davis broke one of his many SM1500s.
(Loud noise)
Imaseoulman: "I like the sound. I think I'm going to use this one."
Then the tank wouldn't hold air and we knew what the loud noise meant.
- Leaving early
- The war ended

The Zaxblast lives again, and it brought back fond memories of Salvo chest hits from Augusta.

It was nice to own that gunslinger round so thoroughly. And the ZB did do quite well. Consistent 90' kills? WANT. All in all, a good war, despite an unacceptably high level of douchebaggery. Winning is fine, but constant assholish cheating? Not so much. Everyone knows who I mean. I felt like I got off to a slow start, but did pretty well, particularly since I was using an unfamiliar gun setup. Incidentally, it was so hot that I just replaced a Salvo barrel that had melted right the fuck off. Getting point blanked with that tiny kid's huge RFDG was pretty sweet, honestly, as was seeing Pheylan rocking his first war. And striking fear into the hearts of the enemy is always just dandy. So yeah. 4 big ol' welts, minor sunburn, 11 hours of driving, and 720 miles later, it was totally worth it. Nerf on, guys.
