I was thinking of Santana's in uptown. Its not very far from highland. Its also not on google maps for some reason.

Famous Dave's costs money.

So Santana's it is. It'll be one hell of a feast, that's for sure. I think there will be enough space in cars for those who need a ride. There are going to be a lot more people with cars than usual at this war, unless a bunch of these older people get dropped off for some reason.

Beaver: We need the address for Santana's. I can't find any info on it.

Is anyone using white foam or grey foam darts with colored hot glue?

I'm making darts and wanted to know if I had the mark the backs of them.

Well shit Beaver, that isn't very close at all. Lets stick to something closer by okay? I mean, for our group, driving that far would be a pain. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. So I have pretty much nailed down the options to the Mexican Place by highland, Famous Dave's, and an Italian place. If anybody can find anything else nearby, post it here.

Can somebody who has a chance please go to Highland and look at the bulletin board to see if there is a reservation on Satuday? It would be a good thing to know in advance.

I will be. And I make mine exactly 1 and 1/4th inch long, so if that makes a difference. If you are using solid colors then its ok, as I can only get glittery colors

I'm using solid colors, so I should be fine. I still might paint the back of them orange to make them easier to find.

And that's the same sized darts I use, ha.

I just got 200 of the carcinogen-packed red darts…since we are talking about dart colors.

The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

Shit this war got real while I was gone

Unfortunately I couldn't get any cool new stuff done, I was in canada for the last week and before that I was working on lego shit (check out my lego shit). Add the fact of my lengthy departure the next day, and... no, i'm still coming, I'll just be a broken shell of a man.

So who wants to hide my body when I inevitably die of stress?

I have a shitload of stock longshots that I don't need, so I'll be willing to sell a LS or two and include at least one clip with each. I also have some Fireflys.

One more full day until the war. Get your darts made, throw your guns together, and get some sleep on Friday night. And remember:

THIS WAR IS AT HIGHLAND PARK. IT IS NOT AT NEWELL PARK.

Venom, I might buy a FF turret and/or an LS clip from you depending on your pricing. Bring change.

(as long as I'm posting...)
I only have one new gun and it's not too exciting. But it's a new gun.

The cookies look well-frozen. I don't know how they'll thaw, but they'll be there.

--
If somebody posts after me about bringing music then I'll bring my speakers. I think a war of this size warrants and deserves it.

Also, a reminder to bring cameras, as I'm compiling all footage from this summer and need more than my own.

See you all tomorrow.

Anyone else using 1.5" CS darts? Mine are going to be grey, white, and maybe red or black.
I'm also using 1.5" mile high darts (various, from clear hot glue to colored, thanks Snake and Merzlin), but I don't really care about getting those back, as their original owners don't care either.

Also Beaver, I have 4 of your mega stefans.

I also invite everyone to think of some other Zombie type games. I'm open to everything, assuming it's practical for our purposes.

In the last Foamcast, Talio talked about an interesting Zombie game....zombie pistol round. Two teams with pistols, and zombies (no pistols, or maybe foam swords / flamingos / etc). The pistol teams try to eliminate each other. Meanwhile, the zombies are going after everyone. The goal is for one pistol team to last longer than the other. It's pretty much a gunfight in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse.

Carbon: That sounds like an excellent idea. I think we will give it a try.

Besides regular primaries and pistols, I recommend bringing a high ROF and low range gun like a Maverick or DTG for the Zombie games. Also, ridiculous are needed too. I have a lot of yellow practice golf balls that work in stock ball barrels, so bring your ballguns and I will have balls to supply.

There is one question that has been nagging at the back of my mind this whole time. Why did we start using Star Wars names? I have nothing against Star Wars. It just seems like in the time I wasn't on frequently these names just popped up.

Due to space/packing issues (15 hour drives suuuck), I am only bringing a bare handful of guns (a pistol, 3 primaries). If possible, I'll need to borrow a couple of pistolas for the pistol rounds, or sit out. ~R
