Hello guys, I have been modding this longshot for some time now but to no avail.
Pics:
Longshot fg integration
Barrel
(brass barrel only extends about 2 centimeters out from the end of the orange tip thingy)
My problem is that I have re-barreled the lsfg with brass and after it is cocked and everything it just won't shoot a stefan far. It goes about an average of 10ft. I tried adding a stronger spring but it woudn't catch, so I then added a stronger catch spring. It still wouldn't catch with the stronger spring and stronger catch spring in, so i took it out and put just the stock spring in. It still shoots an average of 10ft.
If anybody can help me with my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do your darts fit snugly in the brass? Do you have enough e-tape to make a strong seal?
fallinouttadabox (intentionally lowercase): sometimes you want to be somewhere between thinking in the box and thinking out of the box. Trust me, I would know.

My darts fit a teeny-weeny bit loose but it gives it an ok seal. I also tried stock darts and they get an average of 9 ft. i am using 17/32 brass. Yes, I did wrap enough e-tape around it to make a good enough seal. The barrel slides easily but not to easily in and out of the other thing that houses the barrel.Do your darts fit snugly in the brass? Do you have enough e-tape to make a strong seal?

Lube it and cut off that extra 2 centimeters.

I lubed it again and again, but it gets the same distance. I don't see what an extra 2 centi. does. I don't think I will cut off. Thanks though.Lube it and cut off that extra 2 centimeters.
