Ok, i was looking at some pic. of nerf guns and when they have another gun connected to it they use this valve. It tooks like a metal rod with a loop and the end of it...? how does this work and is it homemade(can i make one)

That's a Super Maxx, Air Tech, or similar air tank removed from its case.
