Recap time! It is not necessary to post pictures of me without clothes on.

Overall good. I finally got to use my damn +bow in a war.

On a side not, Acronyms for war names are uncool. We need better names for our wars. Like "War of the Tiger" or something -- but not that, because that would sound silly.

Agreed, the war after Sam's should be named something without MN, St. Paul or any acronym of a locality.
My vote goes to "Attack of The Third Coast".

That was a good war, I'm glad the weather didn't go the way it was supposed to.

PROS:

+ Not being the first one there again
+ I would have Nerfed if it had rained but, I'm glad it didn't
+ "I'M GROOVE!!!!"
+ Using an AT2K at a war for the first time
+ The SM250 is hilarious, I feel bad planning to mod it.
+ Seeing BustaNinja's Marine-epoxied mad LS clusterfuck
+ The BBB with a stock spring that I used for a few rounds preforming quite well
+ Meeting NerfBros, pretty cool guys, they were well equipped for their first war
+ Not loosing all of my darts and those that I got back weren't in too bad shape
+ The Neodymium on a stick made my life easier, I will bring it to all wars from now on
+ I'll also bring the pink flamingo to use as a flag from now on
+ Using my mega shooting Sharpshooter II
+ I didn't get as tired as I expected to

CONS:

- My primary BBB functioning poorly
- The NF750 did not work too well
- The park being more crowded than was fun for us
- People leaving early
- +bows with inline clips
- I should have brought POPTARTS!
- The war ending


I liked Busta's Idea for a podcast recorded at a war, we could do it afterwards or between rounds.

My recap in Pro/Con Format:

Pros:
+It didn't rain. Whoa.
+I got to use my +bow in a war. Finally.
+RCSB clips galore. Rate of fire was consistently trumping range. Long-range standoffs were rare.
+As with most wars, people were generous enough to lend out their guns. I really enjoy using different guns from round to round.
+venom's reactor works surprisingly well. With a little refinement, I think that would be war-worthy. I am looking forward to that pulsator that you're working on.
+I didn't have many darts made, but I was able to scavenge enough that it wasn't an issue.
+Busta's silly integrations make me happy. Screw war worthiness.
+Shootin' the shit, making fun of the admins on the forums and nerf celebrities. Groove especially, for some reason or another. We love you guys.

Cons:
-There were a lot of people in the park, which restricted our motion. This may be a problem come summer.
-The mysterious absence of SM1.5k's.
-Not wearing eye protection, and then getting shot in the face repeatedly. I'm not a teenager, I don't have an excuse for acting like a dumbshit

CONS:
- +bows with inline clips

Well... that sort of depends on which way its pointing



I'M GROOVE HAHAHAHA!!! We strapped a Splitfire to a Crossbow just to piss off the NIC.



Busta's bizarre monstrosity: a singled LS with Big blast and Recon shell. It was surprisingly comfy to use.

Pros-
The whole I'm Groove, Ice, CS, thing was funny
Busta's ls...thing
running around and having fun because thats what its all about
Running around the whole building from Koree in a few seconds
There are a lot more but I can't think of them

Cons
Realizing my crossbow isn't all that great(gonna work on that)
the war not lasting longer
but not really any cons

It would be a shame to let it just sit around and not get used. I think you should repair that AT2k integration -- when I was using your crossbow, there were many moments when I would have killed for an extra shot.

...or you could just sell it and build a SNAP that gets better ranges.

That was fun, we had a great time and we are looking forwards to the next war.
Pros:
+No rain
+Got some good ideas for new modifications. (You'll see them at later wars.)
+Getting to try out a RSCB, I'm going to make one now.
+Laughing at Beaver's stupid poses. (I have pics but I won't post them)
Cons:
-My snap breaking in one shot.
-Our guns not preforming as well as they should have.

My pretty parasol picture is awesome. Don't hate. Holding that Manta with the umbrella made me feel like a man... in the same way wearing a dress does... You all want to see that now huh?

Anyway, awesome war. I am a day late in posting. I was really tired, but then my sister decided to pull a stunt by saying she didn't want to drive back from northfield at 10PM at night, so I had a 20 hour day, with 6 of those spent running around. I was pissed.

-"I'm Groove!!!!!". I don't know why, but I loled. We love you though Groove. We only make fun to try to get you to come out. Atleast thats my reason.
-The awesome round with the BnA. Like one of Venom's n00b friends said, "I feel like Rambo while using it"*
-The Manta ray. Bags? I understand why you, or anyone else, would use them... They are FUCKING AWESOME!!!
-My Cluster Fucker doing really really well actually. The single shot, then the shotgun made it almost angelic. Needs work though
-Lunch was awesome. I paid for none of it.
-I lost more then half of my 500-600 cluster-fucket-bucket of darts. Im sad now.
-Meeting Nerf Bros. You guys are MN Nerfers through and through. Welcome aboard.
-Plusbows with RSCBs on them... Oh I hate them so.
-"Who all is left?" "Koree I think", "Hey Koree! How many lives you got left?" "1 left" *shot with my 1500* "Now Koree's out"
-Koree's Effeminate corner rush, only to be thwarted by a 1500 shot to the forehead... Why we wear eye protection.

Great War, much better than I expected. The night before, I was like "Shit, this war is going to suck, it's going to be all wet and cold outside", but it was actually quite succesful.

War Highlights:
-Watching in the direction Koree comes from, only to see him come zooming in on his bike and Julian saying "Koree's a badass!"
-Finding out how fucking amazing pistolsplats are. That thing is actually worthy enough to go up against 4Bs, +bows and the like.
-In the first and second round, running around like a maniac with the pistolsplat and adapting a completely new playing style while using it. It was succesful.
-Shooting Julian in the face with my pistolsplat while he was on the swing only to have him and Beaver chase me up and down a hill. Then Beaver holding me up against himself so Julian could get an open hit on me, but luckily he didn't actually hit me.
-Not knowing that that one guy was Nerf Bros' Dad and then finding that out and having a Sixth Sense esque moment when I realized "He was here the whole time, I just didn't know it".
-Using the knock-off Guru and repeatedly saying "I'm Groove!" and "You can't kill me, I'm Groove, bitch!"
-Everybody wanting to use Gage's Xbow, only to get owned because it sucks.
-My singled LS not breaking until right after the war. The barrel came loose, shouldn't be a hard fix.
-Finding out my singled LS gets similar ranges to a +bow.
-Getting in a stand-off with Beaver in one of the valleys, only to have us both repeatedly miss each other and not rush either.

Lowlights:
-Pointblank shot from a L+L
-About half of my darts being incredibly thin
-Too many damn people at the park


After the war is a whole different story. Basically, I said to Gage that he should sleep over sometime in the future, but then was like I'll sleep over tonight. So he did, here's the more interesting parts of what happened:
-Biking around after dinner and only going to 2 of 4 stores because they were closed.
-Finally buying some nano-size PEX tubing, and testing it when we got back.
-Calling my friend at like midnight and annoying the shit out of him.
-Calling Julian at like midnight only to have him say "Go to bed Zach, do you ever sleep?". Then I say "Your not my mom" and he says "I am totally your mom, go to bed". Then for some reason he told us to go play basketball, which we should have because I have a hoop but nobody really uses it.
-Recording both of said calls. You can hear them at the next war if you want.
-Trying to do some revamps on Gage's Xbow, only to give up in frustration.
-Waking up on Sunday and thinking everything was normal, then looking down and seeing Gage and thinking "What the fuck, oh wait, now I remember".
-Dry firing my Ultimator and scaring Gage when he was waking up.
-Gage actually SEEING that my Doomsayer IS almost done, or at least farther than his.
