Today i picked up a airtech 1k so i decided to try something different.
First off open up your gun the internals should look like but with the turret

First take out the turret and throw it into your parts bin. Take out the black plunger tube and take out the little black nub.

Now dremel that little line next to the air out put hole (not sure of what it is called) and then wrap etape around the hole. Cut a 4 inch piece of your barrel material and stick it on the etape. Before you do this put hotglue or epoxy around the plunger where the barrel will go.This is what mine looks like.


Put your gun back together and now you have a airtech 1k with range of 50+ feet. The finished product

You guys can simply fix his pictures instead of telling him that they are fucked up. It seems the nicer thing to do.

Thanks guys i also decided to take off the eletrical tape and add epoxy and hotglue. And thank you Mr. Badger for fixing my pictures. Maybe this could be added to the directory sense this is the only singled airtech 1k.

On another note, just because it isn't in the Mod Directory doesn't mean that this will be added. Write it up again in this topic showing it step-by-step for everyone to see and for those that are utterly inept at modding. I understand what you did, but you made changes. Show them as well.

Wow, some one actually made this gun decent?

Yes i did but it is still not pistol worthy. It has bad reload time because of how it is cocked. The weirdest part was that it is called an airtech 1k but it is a spring gun.

Wow. Never seen someone get up the nerve to ASK to be in the directory.

Pretty nice mod. Dunno. But I myself (and probably others.) would rather go with a 2k or 3k.

For this gun - 9/10.

For Nerfing all-together - 3/10.

Could be useful, but not great compared to other guns. It's even worse than others in it's line. But for the gun itself, it's nice.

I had one of these a few years ago. I didn't even have the recognition of modifying a nerf gun, and sometimes the dart didn't even move, so I think I threw it away. Something close to the same with an AT2K.

But now, my brother picked up 2 of these a few months ago, so I have something to do than leave them NIB. Nice mod.

Well they had a price tag of 4.99 so i could not resist but if i had the choice i would rather pay 3 more bucks and get a NF. But sense you have them it is definetly worth it.
