Looks like a partial knock-off of the Recon, Star Wars edition.

To me, the smallest version of the gun looks very similar to the Pistol Splat PS-800.

It probobally only fires darts in it's smallest form, exactly like the original clone trooper gun (primed by pulling that square on the side back). I see no evidense of a clip or magazine of any sort. I'm a little diappointed that the only time people get excited, is when they think it uses clips. Remember, every clipped gun, besides the LS, is absolute shit.

Well, with a cooler paint job it will probably end up in the hands of all those Stromtroopers who attend comic conventions. I agree, $50 makes it way over priced, but anything connected with Star Wars tends to be over priced when they first comes out. That's to over the Star Wars license fee they have to pay to make it in the first place. And, because they over produce all that crap, action figures, books, masks, lame nerf blasters, it all ends up in the discount bin.

When the blaster lands in the budget shop I might pick one up and re-paint just to put on a wall.

perhapes you should try reading the fine print before making such bold statements. It states clearly

Hasbro took the idea of "Build Your Own Lightsaber" and translated it into a pretty nifty (and sizeable at 2.5 feet long!) blaster rifle that can come apart, be reconfigured, fires soft darts and includes light and sound effects when your re-attach the parts! Some pretty cool features that are new to the Star Wars toy galaxy that should please fans of all ages.

I meant magazine using guns made recently are all bad. The PC uses more of a dart holder, rather than something that advances the darts, and the FAR is just fucking homemade awesomesauce.

I was referring more to the Recon, and Monsters vs. Aliens gun.

I still say that it only fires darts in its pistol form, being primed by fulling that square on the side back, just like the original Clone Troopers Blaster. There's no way that it can fire a dart down that much faux barreling, or transport the air that far. I also see no evidence of a magazine.

That's what you pull on to prime it. It uses full size darts, so that would be one big ass gun if that was a magazine!

Please learn the correct form of these words.

CLIP: A body used to hold munitions in a position ready to be fired
i.e. - M1 Garrand, Powerclip, Magstrike

MAGAZINE: A container that feeds munition into the breech of a firearm.
i.e. - M4 Carbine, Longshot, Recon, Raider

SOURCE:
- CLIP
- MAGAZINE

That is all.

Jesus Christ Horus, who the fuck cares?! That point has been brought up COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE. Even hasbro itself refers to the longshot "clips" as clips, NOT MAGAZINES. So that's what they are called. Nerf blasters aren't real guns, and don't need to use the same terminology.

"QUOTED PICTURE OF GUY IN TANK TOP"

Where did you get the picture of Talio, and why is he wearing that retarded getup?

You teenagers need to stop bein' so dayum igna'nt.

Sorry, not all of us are gun nuts, and you'll probably be warned for posting unrelated pictures. Some of us know what the correct terminology (for firearms) is, but I can guarantee that NO ONE CARES. Regardless of what you say, Hasbro happens to be king in this particular case. While you may be technically correct in the case of firearms, as Ubermensch states earlier, Nerf Blasters (not guns, damnit!) need not, and do not, follow the same terminology. Now, can we NOT have this discussion outside of the thread already made for it? It's pointless anyway.

Ha! You're funny. April fools, you're not. Maybe instead of replying with stupid pictures, you could actually give a decent argument, or, god forbid, agree with what we are saying, because it is valid. NOBODY CARES about correct gun terminology. We are on a forum where people take plastic toy guns and modify them to shoot farther, not a gun enthusiast's forum. And stop saying "That is all." after your posts. It's annoying.

EDIT: Beaten to it by Draconis. My argument still stands. If you want to argue any more, just take it to PMs.
