Yeah, I was thinking about that. If the weather sucks, we can have the war in Julian's house. But seriously, maybe we could work something out with a war at hamline? I think we should all show up at least, and just chill in the pagodas. The rain will probably have breaks or just stop. The good thing about the rain is that less people will be at the park.

EDIT: I'm actually thinking we should call it off now. There is a 70% chance of precipitation, I'm not prepared very well (I can be though), Sam's war isn't too far away, and this war isn't a huge deal anyway. Tell me what you think, but I think it would be best to call it off. Beaver agrees with me too, and he is one of you close byers. So as of now, don't count on having the war. I'll decide for sure tomorrow.

How about postponing it just one week? Or even to Sunday?

Sunday wars never really work out. Perhaps one week, because Sam's war will still be two weeks from that Saturday.

Well, I haven't completely decided for sure yet. If you guys are willing to all play in the rain, we should have it. I'm really indecisive on whether or not to have it. I want a finaly verdict guys, what will it be? This is in your hands, if enough people want to have it we will.

EDIT: I put the date back as tomorrow, let's do this. If it rains, who gives a shit, let's nerf.

I was pretty set on having this war tomorrow. I scrambled to make enough darts and get everything together. I VOTE NERFS!!!
My guest on the other hand is sick and his attendance is questionable.

I am looking at the forecast now, it says that the showers should taper off sometime between 9 and 12, we could just wait an until then....


---> Just a thing that I was thinking about after listening to the podcast; a Minnesota Foamtalk segment/thing; it could be put on youtube with war footage as the image portion, or as a podcast like the original. We would just need some recording equipment and editing time.

Well since there is still enough interest WE WILL HAVE THE WAR! BE THERE, ON TIME TOMORROW!

Glad you guys are still set, hopefully the rain WILL settle down in the afternoon. We can just play a close range round IN the pagodas if it's raining. We played in the pagoda at the last Spring MNNO too, it was interesting.

The probability of rain has gone down since what it was originally. And it's just water anyway. I mean, we made it through Minnesnowta and Minisnowta, which were really cold days. It shouldn't be too cold, and you'll just get a bit wet. I think most of the rain will be in the morning. And these wars don't really take off until 11-12. We need your car for getting lunch too, walking there causes the people who are walking to miss quite a bit of playing time. This applies to everybody, don't be pussy. Rain shouldn't be the only thing that decides whether or not your going.

EDIT: Just watched the weather on TV. It looks like we're just dodging a storm, and there will be little to no rain during the war tomorrow. Hope this all goes well.

Finished 20 ft. of one inch stefans, thats like 230ish ready for battle in addition to the oversized 230ish we made before (don't fit in cpvc, but quite nicely in 9/16ths brass, med walled pteg and stock barrels).
I was afraid I'd have to get on here and go braveheart on you guys (WE ARE MEN! NOT CALIFORNIANS!).
Ready, not 100%, but we'll have enough to survive. I don't have a snap, but I'll make a vid of the all snaps round to post on youtube. My camera takes pretty nice videos (better than ice quality...)
Parents are being jerks about junk, whatever. We will be there, I'm not afraid to steal the car... May have to leave about 2ish, have to work at 4:30... ug...

I finished about 400 new darts, added with my darts from last war, and thats about 500, all war ready. I'm waiting for my cluster-fucker to dry, and I completely forgot about my NF in my car, so gotta go get that. My SNAP is all back in working condition, but I still probably won't use it that much. Looking forward to an awesome war.
