Eh. A few videos. I forgot the tape measure somewhere, but when I get it I'll make that range test video. It's hard to tell from these I think.

How the spring return on the priming handle works:

It's a retractable lanyard, inside the handle. The part that would normally attach to (and pull back on) a pen is attached to the handle. Pull the handle back away from the gun, and the lanyard pulls it towards the gun.. Not sure where the misunderstanding was, but hope this clears it up.
Edit: Photobucket video editor isn't functioning properly. Had to put in the uneditted version. You can just ignore after 0:14, I was just screwing around with the rail.

Single shot - 12 seconds per shot, 5 shots per minute.


8 shot RSCB clip - 8 shots in 25 seconds, one shot per 3.125 seconds, ~19 shots per minute (not including reload of course)

These also show that the handle and wire don't really bounce around like some of you thought they would. Sometimes the handle flips over, but you don't feel it, as it's covered in plastidip (very soft) and it's barely touching your hand at all.

Split, that is damn cool. I think the wire is really excellent. Like Busta says, it's not new, but the execution is genius. You wouldn't, pray tell,have measured the mass of the complete plunger, would you? I'm quite interested in whether that is where you gain most of your power.

Jesus, after I finally get how this works, I have even more respect for you. Not only is the idea of using a wire to prime it a good idea (I have done the same to some guns) but the idea to have it all connected to a lanyard so it doesn't smack your hand is even better. Its fucking brilliant. MAD MAD MAD PROPS!!!

Ah, got what you mean for wire retraction, thanks for the clarification. I thought you had completely eliminated wire snap, but it's just contained because the handle doesn't flop all over.

A few big updates.
First, check out this post to see my new plunger head design.

Second, some fun attachments for the +pistols rail:


The blue one is an adapted N-strike rail from a Longshot. Honestly, the only use I see for it right now is the remote for the disk shot launcher, but damn I love that thing.


The second is a removable pistol splat (replaced spring with one from an original, so it shoots 80s+) with a thumb button trigger. I loves it.



A bit of a close up on the catch/trigger set up (the trigger design is a bit outdated in this pic - it had to be remade):


I added a third spacer right above the rail. Now I can just have two side by side screws on whatever attachment, and they click around it, keeping it in place. It has been working flawlessly.

Once it's nice outside, I'll be getting that range video, and a video of the integration.

Edit: Oh yeah. I forgot to mention - I'll be making a writeup of a simpler version of the +pistol.

Me likes it. Do you have any more spare original pistol splat springs (the stronger ones)? A also have the purple version.

Also, why do you have screws in the fitting on the RSCB? Is it to make the components removable without using an adhesive?

The screws keep everything perfectly straight. No extra springs. The mod section is not the place to search for trades, I'm afraid.

Very neat attachment for the PS-800. Looks very complicated. I have a paradox feeling about complicated things, I like them because they're neat, but I don't because I can't recreate them. Overall really nice job on the improvements.

Average range: 155 feet flat.

The goal was range, secondary emphases on size and comfort. It's built off of the +bow model, but there is not one piece, save the plunger head washer and spacer that is exactly the same. Every component was modified in some necessary way, including the spring and plunger tube.

This is an utterly spectacular build. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a police raid is in the pipework for something like this. Have you considered adding a small hopper? It might make that firepower a bit more practical. After all, once you miss one shot, you have to pause and reload. I'm certain that with the air volume the +pistol packs the velocity won't suffer much. Again, prepare for a raid.
